Scope
As a Service Excellence Rep you need to know how to:
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting, assisting, and directing visitors and patients as well as strong coordination with Volunteers. Begin registration process by verifying pre-registration documentation and informing RN of patient arrival
• Identify key family/visitors and record their phone number and seating location in reception/waiting area. Keep track of family/visitors throughout the surgery/procedure experience (often six hours in length).
• Facilitate strong communication and coordination with Nurse Liaison, Volunteers and other Service Excellence Liaisons during shift.
• Maintain awareness of how to direct patients that do not show up in My Patients for Surgery and Interventional Services

Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service environment (preferably in a healthcare setting)
• Proficiency with computer and problem solving skills

The engineer will perform other related duties as assigned, including participation in major emergencies or disasters as outlined in AWWU’s disaster plan matrix, which defines each employee’s potential duties and responsibilities. This may include 12-hour work shifts, which may continue for 72 hours or more starting at any time an event might occur, seven (7) days a week, 24 hours per day.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible engineering experience.

Substitution:
• A Master's degree in Engineering may substitute for the experience on a year for year basis.
Must possess a valid State of Alaska Driver's License by time of hire.

Preferences:
• Applicants registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Alaska.

• Assist in the maintenance of the golf cart fleet by checking for damage, transporting carts to and from staging area, washing and cleaning carts and securing area.
• Maintain driving range by picking up range balls & baskets, cleaning, transporting to clubhouse, filling range machines, collecting garbage and cleaning equipment and area.
• Stocking and cleaning bathrooms on the golf courses.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
May be required to work and assist other golf facilities with similar essential job functions through the Golf Division.
