Each year, we invite high-performing, rising college seniors to join our Corporate Banking platform for a 10-week U.S. Summer Analyst Program.

What is the opportunity?

We are actively seeking Summer Analysts to support larger Corporate Banking & Global Credit verticals at RBC. The successful candidate has strong interest in Capital Markets, solid academic track record, is looking to explore a career opportunity with Corporate Banking and has a graduation date in Spring 2026 or December 2025. RBC is North America’s 5th largest bank and a premier, full-service investment bank with a strong US presence and significant momentum across four continents.

What will you do?
• Support 10+ Corporate Banking industry verticals throughout the entire credit origination, execution and portfolio management cycle
• Participate in the due diligence process for new lending transactions by analyzing company filings, financial statements, diligence reports, equity / credit research, etc., as well as attending management presentations and diligence calls
• Assist with the preparation of internal credit presentations and related credit submission documentation. This will involve producing detailed written credit analyses and working with integrated financial models to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients
• Analyze companies’ business models, financial projections, deal structures, industry dynamics and investment merits through direct collaboration with peers from Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, Risk Management and various other internal partners
• Support senior team members in various ad-hoc and recurring initiatives such as portfolio management, administration and reporting, pipeline management and annual budgeting, as well as other special projects as needed.
• Liaise with back and middle office functions to set up transactions on various internal systems.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a focus in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field

What will you do?
• Provide daily supervision and implementation of the RBC US Capital Markets customer and enhanced due diligence programs, including the review of high risk customers identified at onboarding or through KYC refresh
• Provide ongoing guidance and assistance to RBC US Capital Markets employees related to the due diligence requirements for onboarding high-risk customers and the Firm’s risk appetite for prospective customers generally
• Provide subject matter expertise on Customer Due Diligence (including Customer Identification Program) and Enhanced Due Diligence regulatory and RBC Enterprise Policy requirements
• Facilitate the development of controls for mitigating AML risks and identify gaps/remedial steps (issue management) meeting regulatory requirements (including the AML Act/CDD Rule) and other expectations
• Assist in the management the New Business Committee process as it relates to the evaluation of new products and businesses for AML/OFAC risks as well as coordinating with global CM AML stakeholders on shared products
• Review and advise, with the relevant teams, in the creation of AML surveillance rules, data feeds, interfaces, and address other issues required for the effective functioning of the AML monitoring system
• Oversee AML investigations for US Capital Markets (including those originating from the Global CM FIU); coordinate Suspicious Activity and related regulatory reporting with other groups as appropriate
• Deliver targeted AML training to the business and infrastructure groups as needed, update training materials, and oversee the completion status of AML & Financial Crimes required training
• rovide regular updates to the Deputy Head/Head of US CM AML and BSA Officer and to 3WFC Branch Manager (where applicable), escalating significant issues when needed
• Maintain oversight of the AML Program metrics for CDD/EDD escalations and provide preliminary analysis on trends and weaknesses in the data

What do you need to succeed?
• Extensive knowledge of risk management and anti-money laundering related requirements including BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, FCPA and other applicable U.S. regulations
• Strong knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (including Customer Identification Program) and Enhanced Due Diligence
• In-depth knowledge of Banking and Capital Markets products, their trade lifecycles, settlement flows, and their use in Financial Crimes
• University degree or equivalent experience preferred

Quantitative Strategies Group Summer Program

What is the opportunity?

• This position will drive growth in platform assets through field engagement with financial advisors.
• Develop and execute business development plans designed to accelerate AUA and revenue growth in alternative investments, with distinct advisor audiences in mind, ensuring that the needs of inexperienced to expert advisors are addressed.
• Extensive travel to branch offices in the Division to educate financial advisors and clients on the risks and benefits of alternative investments, and to describe specific strategies, fund managers, and vehicle terms.
• Build new and maintain existing relationships with AI users in the territory; represent the RBC alternative investments platform with recruits.
• Coordinate the efforts of third party wholesalers / resources within the respective territory.
• Run regional events and roadshows with fund managers to educate advisors and clients on alternative investment strategies and products.
• Host Financial Advisor and client seminars / meetings.
• Work in partnership with the RBC Client Strategies Team to cultivate advisor leads and facilitate relationship building and client engagement for alternative investment strategies.

What do you need to succeed? Must-have
• 5-10 years of financial markets experience
• Deep working knowledge of alternative manager universe and ability to speak to the key benefits and risks of a wide range of alternative investment strategies with both advisors and end clients
• Proficient with Salesforce and ability to adapt to changing technology
• Willingness to travel extensively (40 - 60% of the time)

Nice-to-have
• Sales, marketing, and / or business development experience
• Experience within private wealth and / or broker-dealer
• Advanced degree (MBA) or industry designations (CFA, CFP, CAIA)
• Securities industry licenses 7, 63 and 65, or series 66; or willingness to become licensed

• The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $85,000 - $150,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status;

market conditions; and business needs.
