Principal Assigned Responsibilities:
Provide initial and ongoing assessments of children and their families receiving services from assigned programs.
Participate as the lead clinical member of the inter-disciplinary treatment team specific to each child on assigned caseload. Ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive, individualized and discharge/reunification focused treatment plan, utilizing a strength-based approach. Monitor implementation of treatment plans and revise as necessary.
Provide individual, family and /or group therapy for children and families as prescribed on individualized treatment plans.
Ensure that the frequency, nature and location of clinical contacts are in compliance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
Provide support for Case Planner to complete Case Management activities for assigned caseload through activities that ensure the full integration of all services provided to each child. These activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure that referring/custodial agencies and parents are kept closely informed of case movement, case planning decisions and significant events in the life of the child on an ongoing basis.
Monitor the child's daily functioning to ensure continuity of service in accordance with the individualized treatment plan and staff participation in the development and implementation of that.
Coordinate treatment efforts with other treatment team members via staff meetings, medication reviews, and other collateral contacts as deemed necessary.
Facilitate timely and appropriate client transfers within the agency and discharge planning to outside services in a manner that ensures adequate and appropriate aftercare services.
Facilitate collateral contacts with individuals, schools and agencies outside the agency relevant to the treatment plan.
Be prepared to testify in court related to clients' clinical services.
Participate in additional meetings as deemed necessary by the treatment needs of assigned caseload.
Maintain required documentation associated with the provision of services in a timely and accurate manner via the agency's Electronic Health Record (EHR) and as required by relevant regulatory bodies, e.g. OCFS connections system. Clinical documentation includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Psychosocial assessment and/or semi-annual assessment updates.
Individualized, comprehensive treatment plans that accurately reflect specific discharge criteria, client-centered goals, measurable objectives, child/family participation in the development process, and modalities/methods designed to help the child/family meet the criteria for discharge; and periodic progress notes relevant to goals and objectives on client treatment plan.
Treatment progress documentation as required by agency's standards and relevant regulatory bodies.
Other documentation associated with the provision of services (e.g. incident reports, court reports).
Partner with staff from other disciplines and /or Foster Parents as relevant to assist in the following:
Ongoing program evaluation and development.
Staff training in treatment-related skill areas.
Provide crisis management and problem-solving support services for caseload within the context of the child's home, school and/or agency program as deemed necessary.
Participate in program-specific on-call procedure when assigned as it relates to child-specific clinical issues (e.g. psychiatric emergencies, AWOLs, etc.).

NSA Data Scientists tackle challenging real-world problems leveraging big data, high-performance computing, machine learning, and a breadth of other methodologies. As a Data Scientist, your responsibilities may include:
- Exploratory data analysis and exploratory model-fitting to reveal data features of interest

Job Summary
Data scientists are hired into positions either directly supporting a technical mission office or into the Data Science Development Program (DSDP). For the former, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with NSA's experts in the field of data science and other computational disciplines while tackling NSA's highest priority mission challenges. You will have opportunities to attend technical conferences with experts internally and from industry and academia as well as discuss and share NSA's challenges and successes at technical roundtables.
The Data Science Development Program (DSDP) is a three-year opportunity to develop and enhance your data science skills. Participants experience the breadth of data science at NSA through six- to nine-month assignments in a variety of diverse organizations, and collaborate with NSA's experts in the field of data science. You will have opportunities to attend technical conferences with experts from industry and academia, and you will routinely discuss and share NSA's challenges and successes at weekly technical roundtables. You will study data science and related subjects taught by NSA experts. We foster an environment where you will develop your data science skills, while quickly contributing to NSA's highest priority mission challenges. Graduates of the DSDP may choose their first permanent assignments from any of the NSA Directorates.
Qualifications
The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.
Applicants who meet minimum qualifications may be asked to complete the Data Science Examination (DSE) evaluating their knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and computer science topics that pertain to data science work. Passing this examination is a requirement in order to be considered for selection into a data scientist position.
Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. A degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Information Systems, Engineering), a degree in the physical/hard sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy), or other science disciplines (i.e., behavioral, social, library, and life) may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework (typically 5 or more courses) in advanced mathematics (typically 200 level or higher; such as calculus, differential equations, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and calculus based statistics) and/or computer science (e.g., algorithms, programming, data structures, data mining, artificial intelligence). College-level Algebra or other math courses intended to meet a basic college level requirement, or upper level math courses designated as elementary or basic do not count.
Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data science, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, computational science, software engineering, or data engineering.
Note: Degrees in related fields will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university.

Data science at the National Security Agency (NSA) is a multi-disciplinary field that uses elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application-specific knowledge to gather, make, and communicate principled conclusions from data. Data science is present in every aspect of the mission. NSA Data Scientists tackle challenging real-world problems leveraging big data, high-performance computing, machine learning, and a breadth of other methodologies. We are looking for critical thinkers, problem solvers, and motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about data and believe that answers to hard questions lie in the yet-to-be-told story of diverse, complicated data sets. You will employ your mathematical science, computer science, and quantitative analysis skills to develop solutions to complex data problems and take full advantage of NSA's capabilities to tackle the highest priority foreign intelligence and cybersecurity challenges.
As a Data Scientist, your responsibilities may include:

Job Summary
Data scientists are hired into positions either directly supporting a technical mission office or into the Data Science Development Program (DSDP). For the former, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with NSA's experts in the field of data science and other computational disciplines while tackling NSA's highest priority mission challenges. You will have opportunities to attend technical conferences with experts internally and from industry and academia as well as discuss and share NSA's challenges and successes at technical roundtables.
The Data Science Development Program (DSDP) is a three-year opportunity to develop and enhance your data science skills. Participants experience the breadth of data science at NSA through six- to nine-month assignments in a variety of diverse organizations, and collaborate with NSA's experts in the field of data science. You will have opportunities to attend technical conferences with experts from industry and academia, and you will routinely discuss and share NSA's challenges and successes at weekly technical roundtables. You will study data science and related subjects taught by NSA experts. We foster an environment where you will develop your data science skills, while quickly contributing to NSA's highest priority mission challenges. Graduates of the DSDP may choose their first permanent assignments from any of the NSA Directorates.
Qualifications
The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.
Applicants who meet minimum qualifications may be asked to complete the Data Science Examination (DSE) evaluating their knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and computer science topics that pertain to data science work. Passing this examination is a requirement in order to be considered for selection into a data scientist position.
Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. A degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Information Systems, Engineering), a degree in the physical/hard sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy), or other science disciplines (i.e., behavioral, social, library, and life) may be considered if it includes a concentration of coursework (typically 5 or more courses) in advanced mathematics (typically 200 level or higher; such as calculus, differential equations, discrete mathematics, linear algebra, and calculus based statistics) and/or computer science (e.g., algorithms, programming, data structures, data mining, artificial intelligence). College-level Algebra or other math courses intended to meet a basic college level requirement, or upper level math courses designated as elementary or basic do not count.
Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following: designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data science, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, computational science, software engineering, or data engineering.

Experience with security incident response and crisis management.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

What Your Job Will Be Like:
We are seeking a Project Manager experienced in scheduling for Sandia’s Nuclear Deterrence mission. As the Project Manager (PM), you will support the Gas Transfer System (GTS) component on the W80-4 Life Extension Program. You will partner closely with the Product Realization Team (PRT) Lead and Project Controller, as well as the Systems Integration team and management across sites. Are you passionate about using your scheduling and product realization experience to provide detailed planning & analysis and recommendations to leadership? This role could be a great fit!
On any given day, you may be called upon to:
• Provide programmatic leadership and guidance to the PRT
• Develop execution plans and business rhythms for programmatic activities relating to EVM analysis, schedule maintenance, and cost projections
• Coordinate scope and engage with the production agencies and system engineering
• Maintain data integrity of program information
• Support internal and external reviews, assessments, and audits
• Plan, monitor, control, and report on project cost/schedule/scope utilizing P6 schedules, “one-pager” schedules/Gantt charts and the Milestone Alignment Tool (MAT)
• Partner, negotiate, and communicate with program customers and partner sites
• Ensure that all work is identified, defined, aligned, and appropriately managed
• Ensure timely generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and disposition of project controls products
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Qualifications We Require:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant field plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in relevant field plus 1 or more years of relevant experience; or equivalent experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
• Two or more years of experience with Primavera P6 in an Earned Value Management (EVM) environment
• Experience using common office software for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
• Experience with the Nuclear Weapons complex and product realization process
• Active Q or Top Secret security clearance

• Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner effectively with management, customers, PM, and R&D staff

About Our Team:
Our department (8118) is comprised of project controllers, project managers, and science & engineering project managers who support CA Stockpile Systems and Component Engineering for Sandia’s Nuclear Deterrence (ND) Portfolio. The ND Programs are responsible for assuring the safety, reliability and security of U.S. nuclear weapons, enabling the defense of our nation through our nuclear strategic deterrent. 8118 is an integral part of the Division 8000 ND Project Management Office (PMO).

On any given day, you may be called upon to:
• Provide programmatic leadership and guidance to the PRT
• Develop execution plans and business rhythms for programmatic activities relating to EVM analysis, schedule maintenance, and cost projections
• Coordinate scope and engage with the production agencies and system engineering
• Maintain data integrity of program information
• Support internal and external reviews, assessments, and audits
• Plan, monitor, control, and report on project cost/schedule/scope utilizing P6 schedules, “one-pager” schedules/Gantt charts and the Milestone Alignment Tool (MAT)
• Partner, negotiate, and communicate with program customers and partner sites
• Ensure that all work is identified, defined, aligned, and appropriately managed
• Ensure timely generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and disposition of project controls products
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Qualifications We Require:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant field plus 5 or more years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in relevant field plus 1 or more years of relevant experience; or equivalent experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
• Two or more years of experience with Primavera P6 in an Earned Value Management (EVM) environment
• Experience using common office software for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
• Experience with the Nuclear Weapons complex and product realization process
• Active Q or Top Secret security clearance
Qualifications We Desire:
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and partner effectively with management, customers, PM, and R&D staff
• Experience working with the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, or the Department of Defense
• Project management education and certification(s)
• Demonstrated teaming skills, including the ability to work effectively with other organizations, project sponsors and customers, and suppliers
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Experience working on other ND programs withing the NSE
• Experience with Change Control implementation
• Significant experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
About Our Team:
Our department (8118) is comprised of project controllers, project managers, and science & engineering project managers who support CA Stockpile Systems and Component Engineering for Sandia’s Nuclear Deterrence (ND) Portfolio. The ND Programs are responsible for assuring the safety, reliability and security of U.S. nuclear weapons, enabling the defense of our nation through our nuclear strategic deterrent. 8118 is an integral part of the Division 8000 ND Project Management Office (PMO).

Security Clearance:

This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years.
