Duties and Responsibilities
Direct all aspect of coaching varsity ice hockey team
Recruit qualified student-athletes in cooperation with Admissions staff
Plan and conduct practice sessions
Coach team at all home and away games
Become familiar with and adhere to all NCAA and Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference rules
Assume primary responsibility for first aid when a trainer is unavailable
Attend Athletic Awards Ceremony and other department functions as assigned
Coordinate all department student work study positions
Game Manager when assigned
Assist the Director of Athletics with NCAA and MASCAC compliance-related items
Assist with all-conference business as needed
Assist with administration of recreation and intramural activities as needed

• Bachelor’s degree, required. Master’s preferred
• Previous coaching at the collegiate level required
