We are seeking an Information Technology Manager to provide leadership, vision, and management to the IT department. In this role you will be overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. You will devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
As our ideal candidate you are someone who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead a small but growing team. You have developed processes and are able to drive things forward. What You Will Do:
• Lead IT activities for Roofstock, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure the software and hardware-related needs are met proactively and efficiently.
• Coordinate hardware and software procurement, provisioning, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient utilization of company resources.
• Drive automation of IT systems and processes in pursuit of efficiency and scalability.
• Oversee the IT help desk, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
• Manage and maintain office audio/visual systems, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth onboarding and off-boarding processes for employees, including the configuration of necessary IT resources for new hires and the proper retrieval of IT assets from departing employees
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the IT team, fostering their professional growth and skill development in line with their career goals and Roofstock’s needs
• Oversee the management and maintenance of facility-related technology, including printers, access control, surveillance systems, Zoom rooms, and MiFi devices.
• Partner with Infosec and GRC personnel to support information security efforts.
• Enforce compliance with IT policies and industry best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
• Manage IT budgets, including the allocation and tracking of funds for hardware, software, services, and other IT-related expenses, ensuring effective utilization of resources
What You Bring With You:
• Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field or equivalent years of experience
• 6-8+ years technology experience in a fast-paced and agile environment with at least 2 years of management experience as a manager or team lead
• In depth knowledge of computer systems, cyber security, network, office IT setup and systems administration, and phone systems
• Exceptional skills in Microsoft 365 and working with different types of userbases
• Experience with information security concepts and industry standards in adherence to security frameworks (ISO27001, SOC 2, NIST, etc.) is a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills
• Effective management experience guiding and developing teams
• Strong bias towards actions and delivering results
• Ability to think quickly and problem solve when presented with challenges
$135,000 - $150,000 a year

This is a hands on position. As the Senior Staff Engineer, you’ll build and lead the team who works to ensure that Roofstock’s public cloud platforms support the firm’s current and future business needs, driving technology and process in support of these ends. This is a high-profile position that will have exposure across the entirety of the business, driving the development, implementation, and management of these platforms’ roadmaps and associated projects and processes.
Initially, you will be the sole team member, diving in and gaining an understanding of Roofstock's current use of cloud and updating the firm's cloud strategy and driving the implementation of thereof. A team will be built around you based upon the needs you expose.
What You Will Do:
• Provide technical leadership to the broader Roofstock organization while working with internal customers to understand the firm’s current and future needs and to drive associated backlogs for execution by internal teams
• Support the implementation and management of Reference Architectures for use on Roofstock’s cloud platforms
• Work with others in IT and Engineering management to drive best practices in cloud and platform development, deployment, and management
• Identify and manage priorities within the context of IT and software development objectives
• Partner with other groups in IT, Engineering, and Product organizations to support the organizational transformation currently underway within the Roofstock technical orgs
• Build and manage a team of engineers in the building and operation of Roofstock’s public and private cloud platforms and the shared services which support said platforms, contributing technically to the implementation thereof
• Establish strong working relationships at all organizational levels and across functional teams and organizational boundaries
What You Will Bring With You:
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in the implementation and management of public cloud computing platforms
• Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations/geographies, preferably as a technical lead
• Knowledge of public cloud, software development, and system integration
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Deep knowledge of public cloud concepts, with experience with AWS and Azure
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code, including Terraform and CloudFormation
• Experience building systems with micro services and/or SOA architectures
• Highly motivated to research and self-study to keep technical, business, and leadership skills relevant in a highly complex environment

• Partner with other groups in IT, Engineering, and Product organizations to support the organizational transformation currently underway within the Roofstock technical orgs

• Deliver world class customer service throughout resident life cycle
• Prioritize resident satisfaction by swiftly addressing escalated issues and taking steps to enhance their overall experience based on client objectives
• Partner with maintenance management on general oversight of property maintenance
• Partner with asset management to evaluate new acquisitions to set pricing based on local market analysis
• Maximize operational efficiencies of the assets in order to reduce operating expenses and increase ROI
• Maintain occupancy levels to meet financial goals
• Drive collection efforts to meet targeted metrics based on KPI

What You Will Do:
• Design, refine, and spearhead Roofstock Capital Management's SFR investment strategy in alignment with organizational and client objectives.
• Collaborate synergistically with the research team to harness data-driven insights, ensuring informed and strategic investment decisions.
• Leveraging our in-house Investment Services team, oversee the entire spectrum of investment activities, from underwriting and due diligence to final acquisition and sale. Identify and capitalize on novel investment opportunities, focusing on both SMAs and co-mingled funds.
• Initially this role will be an individual contributor but overtime you will lead and mentor an investment team, promoting a culture of data-driven excellence and innovation.
• Build and nurture relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders within the SFR ecosystem.

This role will be supporting the build out of an institutional grade Single Family Residence (SFR) investment platform and other products that deliver investor exposure to the SFR space.

This person will spend their time across multiple functions including product development, investor relations and product management. What You Will Do:
• Partner with our limited partners, capital markets team and legal to ensure the necessary entities and legal structures are in place to efficiently accept investor capital.
• Partner with Investment, Research, Sales & Marketing teams to identify and size new investment strategies.

We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, developing compelling messaging, and driving product adoption for our Seller Services business. The Seller Services team focuses on helping both on and off market sellers dispose of portfolios through transactions at both the portfolio as well as the individual home level. The team also is responsible for creating and testing new products and services that help reduce the friction for sellers to take their portfolios to market. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and enablement initiatives. • Shape our messaging and positioning to effectively communicate our value proposition to target audiences.

• Collaborate with Sales to understand industry trends and sales needs for effective enablement.
• Launch new products and features, driving successful go-to-market initiatives.
• Plan, lead and execute campaigns, leveraging various channels to generate leads and ensure high conversion rates.
• Collaborate with PR and Content teams to develop articles, blog posts, and other content that positions us effectively in the market.
• Develop, execute, optimize, and assess sales enablement programs.
