Duties and Tasks:

• Provide information to prospective and enrolled students regarding financial aid program and student account requirements and procedures via in person office visits, inbound/outbound telephone calls and email.
• Research financial aid issues; review forms for completeness, accuracy; verify information reported on student applications and other documentation.
• Research and resolve student account issues; taking payments, setting up payment arrangements, reviewing and advising on bills and outstanding balances
• Demonstrate integrity, ethical behavior in working with confidential information.
• Interpret, apply and comply with university as well as federal, state and institutional regulations governing student financial aid and student accounts; maintain current working knowledge of guidelines/regulations related to financial aid.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that expectations of financial aid service are met consistently.
• Participate in all meetings and events as assigned.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts by collaborating across departments.
• Provide exemplary student service at all times.
• Communicate accurately and positively by telephone and email to students and internal customers.
• Demonstrate an ability to problem solve issues with students utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Able to work an 8 hour shift between 8am and 6pm EST.
• Participates in special events and in evening and weekend work as needed.
• Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a requirement of employment.

Knowledge:

• An unencumbered, current Registered Nurse license and ability to obtain licensure in Florida is required
• Experience and credentials to teach nursing courses per accreditation guidelines
• Experience in nursing education, curriculum development, and accreditation preferred
• A minimum of three or more years of nursing practice experience with expertise in long term care, acute care, community settings, pediatrics, obstetrics, and/or mental health.

DUTIES AND TASKS:

· SME will fulfill every deliverable specified on the contract, including meeting deadline determined by the contract.

· SME will be expected to attend all trainings and meetings for course developers, as well as completing a one week, online orientation to the Saint Leo University course development process.

· Using backward design (UBD), constructivism models, and leveraging learner centric strategies, the SME will develop module objectives, formative / summative assessments, discussion boards, journal prompts, potential rubric-based experiences, and more, and will contract based on the Saint Leo master syllabus.

· SME will carefully select course materials and resources, in conjunction with pre-determined core materials from the Master Syllabus, as well as supplementary articles, videos, publications, and webpages based on current research and industry developments

· SME will be expected to work through a project management framework, in conjunction with regular meetings with the design team.

· All parties respond to email and /or phone contact within 24-48 hours.

· SME will partner with the Learning Design team in a collaborative process

· SME will have expertise in the appropriate subject matter.

· SME will have working knowledge of appropriate technologies and learning management systems

· SME will be able to devote an average of 6-8 hours per week to course development during a 16-20 week timeframe and participate in a one week orientation.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
• Proactively outreach assigned students via tasks within the student information system in an effort to provide service for all online students.

DUTIES AND TASKS:

· SME will fulfill every deliverable specified on the contract, including meeting deadline determined by the contract.

· SME will be expected to attend all trainings and meetings for course developers, as well as completing a one week, online orientation to the Saint Leo University course development process.

· Using backward design (UBD), constructivism models, and leveraging learner centric strategies, the SME will develop module objectives, formative / summative assessments, discussion boards, journal prompts, potential rubric-based experiences, and more, and will contract based on the Saint Leo master syllabus.

· SME will carefully select course materials and resources, in conjunction with pre-determined core materials from the Master Syllabus, as well as supplementary articles, videos, publications, and webpages based on current research and industry developments
