Here's what you can expect to do in this role:
• Perform intermediate-level clerical and manual work involving the receipt, disposition, and storage of evidence or property.
• Receive, log, categorize, and store property and evidence impounded by police personnel.
• Release property and evidence to properly-identified claimants and maintain security of the work area.
• Collect fees, issue receipts and change, and maintain records of these financial transactions.
• Take and resolve complaints involved in the storage of evidence and property or refers the matter to higher-level personnel. Perform related duties as required.
Information about the positions

Saint Paul Police Property Room: This is a full-time position.
• Hours: Shift times are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with occasional mandatory call back hours.
• Location: 367 Grove Street, St. Paul, MN
Impound Lot: This is a part-time position which involves working three 8-hour shifts per week on average including most weekends.
• Hours: Shift times are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and will vary from week to week.
• Location: 830 Barge Channel Road, St. Paul, MN

Job Description

Responsible for the management and oversight of Investment Services accounts of various sizes established by clients for various purposes. Account Managers serve as one of the client's primary contacts, delivering a high level of customer service and is responsible for retention and expansion of relationship revenue as well as expense management. Interprets account governing agreements in order to select appropriate coding for the trust accounting system. Instructs Investment Services support staff, New Accounts Team and Trust Operations on the proper coding to ensure accurate administration of accounts. Oversees work processed by Investment Services support staff, Trust Operations and others to ensure activity within accounts is in accordance with governing agreements, regulatory and legal requirements, and within U.S. Bank procedural guidelines relative to new, existing and closing accounts. Regularly interacts with clients, focusing on current and changing needs of the client. Proactively engages clients to identify sales opportunities and enhance existing relationships with the bank. Provides client referrals to Investment Services. Monitors daily cash positions (both positive and negative) ensuring regulatory compliance. Ensures appropriate legal agreements are retained in house and maintains client profile information. Completes relationship and administrative reviews, works with clients to clear any noted exceptions, responds to requests from WM&IS Risk Management, Trust Compliance and Corporate Audit Services in a timely manner. Monitors fee aging reports, works with clients to collect fees payable, resolves customer issues, communicates efforts to Relationship Managers and Regional Coordinators, escalating as needed. Identifies staff training needs, participates in training events, may coach or assist in training Investment Services support staff and less experienced Account Managers. Identifies and executes opportunities to create capacity and efficiencies. Participates on Investment Services and Trust Operations committees and projects. JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Staff is responsible for planning and staffing the YouthPower Leadership Institutes 2023-2024 session.

YouthPower is a youth-led organizing and advocacy hub. Eligible participants for the 2023-2024 School Year Session are Black Youth ages 13-19 who are current or previous participants in St. Paul Youth Services' Behavior Intervention or Pre-Charge Diversion programs. Eligible, interested youth complete an application and interview process. The application is focused on leadership, goals, skills, hopes, and dreams. Youth participants earn stipends for their full participation.

The Lead Staff will co-lead the design and implementation of the 2023-2024 School Year Session with experienced youth leaders from previous YouthPower sessions for Black Youth "train-the-trainer" model.

Youth will engage in a semi-structured curriculum of Healing & Identity, Exploration & Innovation, and Policy Change. They will participate in site visits and community forums, identify and develop individual strengths and goals, learn practices for self- and community care, participate in cooperative leadership strategies, engage in critical analysis and creative thinking, prioritize issues, imagine solutions, and communicate their priorities to policymakers and hold them accountable.

The Lead Staff is responsible for designing daily activities aligned with the overall curriculum to ensure the completion of specific experiences and outcomes; establish and practice a culture of high expectations and accountability and high support; organize and lead the day-to-day programming; and document activities and progress. Depending on qualifications and experience, the Lead Staff may also co-lead additional trainings with youth on YouthPowered practices.

The program is staffed 24/7 and our goal is to help individuals stabilize their mental and / or chemical health while staying in a safe, supportive environment. The staff consists of a variety of vocational backgrounds and educational levels including Mental Health Counselors and Practitioners, an LICSW, Peer Support Specialist, and Nurse. Our program includes both group and individual activities and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for providing nursing services in a residential setting for individuals who have a serious mental illness and / or a substance use disorder. This position assists with the admission process including screening referrals, completing assessments and helping the team determine immediate and ongoing recipient needs. This position provides a full range of nursing services and oversees the health management of all individuals served (15 total.)

Education and Experiences:

The Nurse must be licensed by the state of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse and have one year of previous experience working with people with serious and persistent mental illnesses. This position also must be: ambulatory and able to negotiate stairways; able to perform CPR, First Aid and respond to emergency situations; be able to periodically lift and carry bags that could weigh up to 25 pounds; have a valid Class ‘D’ Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, satisfactory driving record and necessary insurance; and must not be actively receiving services from Guild Incorporated currently or within the last two years.

Hired’s Career Pathways Training Programs, the focus of this application, is designed to move disadvantaged individuals into high-growth, career pathways with self-sustaining wages. These programs have proved successful for hundreds of low-income job seekers in earning industry-recognized credentials that serve to enhance career development efforts.

Preferred Site Schedule for Member

The expected weekly schedule of this position will total approximately 35 hours per week throughout the duration of the year. Some flexibility with scheduling is possible.

In addition, members attend professional development days with their fellow CTEP members to enhance service-readiness skills, personal attributes at the service site, and citizenship skills. These Corps days take place twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Fridays from 9 AM to 4 PM, and these trainings are mandatory. Members also attend statewide AmeriCorps events, such as the Martin Luther King Day celebration, and/or serve on the statewide InterCorps Council.

Specific Site Responsibilities

The Member will serve in a training and recruitment role within Hired’s Career Pathway Job Training Programs. Specifically, the member will be responsible for leading digital literacy training at Hired’s Eastside office. The essential functions of the Member include outreach and recruitment, assessment, delivery of training, and classroom management. Further descriptions of these functions are provided below:

Outreach and Recruitment
• Recruit class participants from appropriate sources for class sessions
• Participate in development of recruiting materials and training materials.
• Ensure eligibility of referred participants through formal and informal inquiry and screening.
• Assist with enrollment procedures.

Assessment
• Administer appropriate assessment and screening tools per program requirements or guidelines.
• Proctor NorthStar Digital Literacy modules

Delivery of Training
• Under supervision of Sr. Trainer and/or Program Manager adapt curriculum and/or daily lesson plans to meet the needs of program participants, delivering materials in a meaningful way.
• Maintain learning progress to ensure all topics are covered within the class timeframe.
• Adapt teaching style/techniques to accommodate individual learning needs or situations.
• Assist participants to define and achieve appropriate occupational goals.

Classroom Management
• Maintain a safe, positive, rigorous classroom learning environment.
• Create an environment of respect and rapport with and between participants.
• Establish a culture for learning.

To fulfill the objective of this role, the Member will need the following skills and abilities:
• Experience with Windows Operating system, MS office 365 programs and Chrome with Google Suite/Apps understanding Skill in written and oral communication.

Site Environment

Hired’s office space is at 800 Minnehaha Avenue East in East St. Paul and provides access to public transportation via bus line. The office space has an area for participant intake, computer lab, and training room. The Member will have access to general office equipment, including telephones, computers, copiers, and fax machines.
