Purpose and Objective:
Ariba, Inc. seeks a Technology Senior Consultant at our Alpharetta, GA location to act as a trusted cloud technical solutions advisor to support technical architecture and interface set up discussions to assess and confirm complex supply chain integrations.
Expectations and Tasks:
Develop technical presentations that outline possible technical configurations or integration options for SAP Ariba cloud offerings. Produce integration feasibility analysis artifacts that capture underlying technical challenges or risks associated with integration components for each of the solution options presented. Propose, conceptualize, design and implement solutions that involve complex integrations between SAP Ariba cloud offerings and other popular ERP systems available in the market. Produce industry best practices white papers that detail complex technical challenges, business use cases, common problems, possible solution approaches and comprehensive assessments. Collaborate with various technical delivery services teams to identify technology improvements needed to solve technical challenges or common pain points across customers. Participate in meetings with Product and Innovation teams to prepare for future product releases. Participate in escalation discussions and comprehend business or technical challenges to devise a plan around de-escalation.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Experience must involve 4 years in each of the following:
• Architect, blueprint, design, and realize technical landscape and configurations and lead customers’ technical teams to achieve their goals during implementation
• SAP procurement solutions, including SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, SAP ECC and non-SAP technologies such as databases, software stacks, programming languages and infrastructure components
• Migrations and upgrades of system integrators between SAP backend and Ariba cloud applications
• Design solutions to facilitate cloud integration and perform detailed planning of technical process implementation
• Identify technical process gaps and provide alternatives to design teams
• SAP ERP to troubleshoot and debug system integration and SAP Ariba applications involved in the landscape
• Determine “TO-BE" processes, including optimized prototype configurations with best fit alternatives, and vet these with customer business unit representatives across the globe to secure their alignment
• Assess technical issues and develop system solutions for deployment, provide the leading practices for the processes involved, and generate customization code in Ariba systems
• Provide support for escalated projects and system optimization, perform issue and status tracking, provide weekly updates, and escalate critical issues to Team and Project

About the team
The objective of this internship program is to prepare a young professional to become part of the SAP Partner Solution Adoption (PSA) Team , within the Global Partner Ecosystem Success (PES) Organization.
