The Coordinator of Case Management assists the Student Care and Outreach Team (“Care Team”) in the management of cases involving students of concern. The goals of the position are to foster student growth by helping students identify behaviors that are impacting their well-being and inhibiting their success. The incumbent provides individualized support through specialized coordination with campus and community partners.
The Coordinator has primary responsibility for opening cases and scheduling follow-up for students. The Coordinator documents the decisions of the Team and arranges for appropriate care, assists with non-urgent interventions, monitors follow-through with action plans, and updates case progress. Other responsibilities include day-to-day management of the access points to the Care Team including drop-in requests and the Care Team email address/phone line.
The Coordinator further acts as the Reporter Liaison to campus constituents, professors, parents, and other reporters who either request a consultation or request to speak to a member of the team.
The Coordinator also assists with the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity during high volume times and may adjudicate alleged violations of the Code of Conduct and Honor Code.
The Coordinator of Case Management reports to the Director of Student Care and Case Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs or related field, or bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
