• Manage a portfolio of individual credits across multiple corporate industries.

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Master's degree, recognized professional designation in a specialized area of finance or business, or equivalent, is an asset.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial and credit risk analysis.

• Understanding of credit risk, and the structures and protections required for the exercise of credit analysis, including knowledge of lending and derivative products and associated documentation.

Position: Associate Director Deposits & Investments, GBP Sales - USA
Purpose: The Associate Director, Deposits & Investments, Global Business Payments (GBP), will be responsible for selling deposit initiatives and strategies to Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) clients through presentations, meetings, or one-on-one consultations. The Associate Director will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with other Scotiabank partners to provide a complete range of investment alternatives as well as maintaining optimized pricing on related products to ensure Scotiabank is competitive and profitable on all deposit and investment offerings.
Accountabilities:
• Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
