The Department of Transportation is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to work in the Training Department to assist in providing SDDOT specific training to all levels of staff within the Agency. This position works closely with subject matter experts to create training based on SDDOT priorities. Types of training include: e-learning and class room style training and on-line video learning. The incumbent will conduct training needs assessments, by user role and provide recommendations, facilitate and conduct training courses based on Training Program standards, and construct, edit and produce courses to enhance the learning opportunities for department staff. The position organizes, stores and uploads course materials into a learning management system (LMS) for SDDOT staff use . This position develops training manuals, handouts and instructor guides according to established baselines.
