Job Summary:

As the SharePoint Developer on our O365 team you will work to enhance existing platforms to provide an inclusive and supportive environment for our acquired companies. With the recent acquisition of several companies, we now have a need to integrate the O365 content from those companies into our O365 tenant. Our intranet is built on SharePoint Online. SharePoint and Teams are the heart of our company's communications.

The ideal candidate has a background in configuring, maintaining, and developing for SharePoint sites, designing, and developing Power Apps and Power Automate Flows, and managing Teams. We are looking for someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective and viable solutions.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SharePoint Online sites and workflows for the organization
• Work closely with management, business analysts, team members and business office subject matter experts to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that align with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards
• Create scalable and secure user interface applications based on user requirements
• Test software and ensure code runs properly
• Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily maintenance of the existing application(s)
• Work with business stakeholders daily
• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Establish and help maintain end user access policy and permissions
• Responsible for creating Teams and managing Microsoft 365 users and groups
• Provide ongoing support for SharePoint and Teams related issues/inquiries
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification and skills in SharePoint programming
Required Credentials:
• Strong experience with Microsoft products including SharePoint Online, Teams, Microsoft 365 Users and Groups, and Power Platform
• Experience creating custom forms using Power Apps
• Build workflows using Power Automate
• Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS,
• Extensive knowledge of REST API queries and JSON
• In-depth understanding of UI and UX design and development
• Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies as they relate to SharePoint Online
• Strong background in web design and development
• Familiarity with standard SharePoint concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong knowledge of the SharePoint Online site configuration
• Build landing pages, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner, and videos accessible to any device
• Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to create webparts, and website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates
• Create lists/libraries, content types, site columns, managed metadata, search navigation, permissions, and data management
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
• Must be motivated, independent, and self-sufficient; able to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion with minimal supervision
