Role Description

As the Lead Product Manager, Outbound Fulfillment, you will be building the industry leading WMS outbound technologies for our fulfillment partners and self-fulfilled merchants to maximize their productivity, reduce order cycle time and delight shoppers with exceptional unboxing experience globally. You will be defining the product vision and strategies that deliver Walmart and Amazon level fulfillment services to any size merchant who is part of the ShipBob family.

This role is for someone who is highly systematic, and loves establishing success metrics. In Product, we believe in being outcome-oriented and testing and measuring everything so we can collectively take ownership of our results.

What You’ll Do
• Manage vision, strategy and roadmap for 1-2 scrum teams consisting of 5+ engineers each.
• Expertly manages cross functional teams to successfully deliver highly complex products, end-to-end. Serve as a subject-matter expert on one or more areas of specialization.
• From concept to launch, own the execution of picking, packing and shipping capabilities of ShipBob WMS for both fulfillment partners and self-fulfillment merchants.
• Manage by example and backstop outbound fulfillment roadmap with a high-level strategy and vision. You will mentor the team to build their ability to think big, be resourceful and communicate a strategy.
• Develop a deep level of user empathy through product data, competitive analysis, and user research.
• Convert feedback from customers and stakeholders into simple and effective features.
• Know the success metrics for your product area and build the tracking plan to support it; understand and communicate how the work that you’re prioritizing is helping deliver those metrics.
• Employ techniques to collaboratively identify risks upfront and proactively resolve them in the product design phase.
• Steer ideation sessions to address issues and foster cohesion with other stakeholders.
• Use your experience to handle conflict quickly and effectively.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, design, and senior management to rapidly execute and iterate.

As a Revenue Enablement Specialist, you will support in the designing, creating and delivering of training, certifications, and sales performance improvement initiatives. Title: Carrier Manager

Role Description:

As a Carrier Manager at ShipBob, you will be primarily responsible for managing carrier relationships (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc) to make sure packages are flowing through their systems and facilities in the most efficient way possible and making sure that the customers get their shipments on time. Shipping is directly related to ShipBob’s overall customer experience and you will be able to impact it positively in a meaningful way.

What you’ll do:
• Establish and manage carrier performance tracking and carrier performance improvement initiatives, which includes coordinating carrier quarterly reviews to hold carriers accountable.
• Manage Carrier Analyst that will be responsible for executing the day (i.e., solutioning missed pick-ups / drop-offs, securing additional capacity, etc).
• Identify coverage or service gaps in defined carrier portfolio / network and work to evaluate prospective carriers.
• Identify bottlenecks in carrier package flows and partner with carriers to improve service levels.
• Create processes and educate internal teams to ensure continuous flow of packages through the carriers’ supply chain.
• Identify trends in service disruptions and work with carriers to mitigate (i.e. reduce lost and damage rates).

The Manager, Merchant Implementation will join ShipBob’s growing Merchant Experience team responsible for understanding the unique strategic needs of each of our clients and delivering value to help facilitate their growth and success. This person will be responsible for managing the Implementation Specialists and the Team Lead of the Implementation team, whose core responsibilities focus on the successful onboarding of new merchants. The expectations for this role are to be an excellent people manager and to operate in a fast-paced environment with a level of ambiguity.

What you’ll do:
• Manage: manage a team including a team lead and individual contributors that work to onboard, retain, grow and support our merchants, in their first 30-90 days working with ShipBob.
• Influence: work cross-functionally with our Merchant Success, Merchant Care, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and Sales teams to improve the merchant experience and achieve revenue goals.
• Strategize: work with our sales, merchant care and strategy teams to devise and execute the overall operational strategy for retaining and growing our self-serve merchant base.
• Merchant Experience: manage a team of Implementation Specialists that act as our escalation point for the first 30 days in the onboarding process for new merchants. This team is critical in solving the most complex merchant problems both from an internal and external perspective.
• Onboarding: oversee the onboarding and implementation operations for all of our SMB merchants
• Analyze: build models to evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of merchant acquisition, engagement, and retention programs and experiments. Forecast and evaluate KPI achievement for our book of business.
• Experiment: use data-driven choices and sound business judgment to run tests on everything from new retention initiatives, to increasing education levels of our merchants to reduce support and escalation costs.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

What you’ll bring to the table:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and client services in the technology industry.
• 2+ years management experience owning both individual and shared goals.
• Experience in a client facing, support or account management role.
• High EQ and natural interpersonal skills. A connector and expert communicator who will ‘close the distance’ between Merchant Success, our merchants and internal stakeholders.
• Established track record of running initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment.
• Solid project management skills and ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
• Tableau, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Retool, SQL skills.

We are a home decor ecommerce business with inventory stored in a Shipbob facility in PA. We would like to remove all inventory from that location and split it up into three different locations: (1) another 3PL disbursement center, (2) a storage facility near Los Angeles, and (3) a retail location in West Hollywood. Our goal is to do so by May 10. We are looking for someone who can independently take on this task and oversee the transfer. Role Description:

The Sr. HRBP, Technology & G&A holds a critical seat within the Technology (US oversight) business unit and G&A (global oversight) business unit, which includes partnering with Engineering, Product, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Legal, and People leadership teams. This global role is responsible for proactively advising and counseling their core leadership team on strategic people matters. The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner is the driving force that keeps their business unit’s priorities connected to the People team’s Centers of Excellence to plan, develop and deploy critical capabilities supporting positive business outcomes. As a strategic partner, this role will partner on talent management, leadership development, change management, employee engagement and retention strategies, and other key initiatives.
