Smartling is seeking a Senior Localization Project Manager for a remote position, based in the continental US, to join our growing Language Services team. We are looking for a true go-getter to own the critical task of making language services more accessible and reliable for our customers. As a Senior Localization Project Manager, you will be primarily responsible for delivery of translations on the Smartling platform. This means playing the link between our linguist community, customers, and the Smartling team to coordinate, monitor, and deliver for our customers. As a Senior Manager, we’ll expect you to be primarily responsible for the services we provide to large enterprise customers. You’ll leverage your expertise in managing a mature localization program, along with strong relationship management skills, to help execute at a high level. You’ll also help support and mentor junior members of our team.

You Will
• Be responsible for large enterprise customers, consulting with their team on solutions, and managing their day-to-day service needs
• Be responsible for multiple services requests on a daily basis, ensuring that Smartling delivers on its key goals
• Act as mentor and coach to junior team members
• Be a champion for our customers - responsive, constructive, empathetic
• Foster close relationships with linguists
• Work cross functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams at Smartling

You Have
• 5+ years of localization project management experience
• Direct customer-facing experience managing relationships with enterprise localization clients
• The ability to execute at a high level and manage demanding services requirements
• The ability to multitask, prioritize and deliver in a high-paced environment and under tight timelines
• The ability to use data to make decisions that will improve key business metrics
• The ability to be entrepreneurial, persistent, and positive in the face of challenges
