JOB TITLE: Software Engineer, Mobile

LOCATION: REMOTE

THE ROLE:

As a Software Engineer on our team, you'll work with Engineering, Design, and Product Management to deliver value to artists. Using your knowledge of software development, you will create, maintain, and deploy application features for a new AI-driven Mobile cross-platform application. You'll have the opportunity to shape the creative flow of musicians while working with multi-talented, creative, and inclusive teammates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Solving problems with code, without code, and sometimes by deleting code
• Writing code in Dart using the Flutter framework to improve Splice’s mobile applications on both iOS and Android
• Writing native code in Java, C++, Swift, or Objective C as needed
• Rapidly iterating and experimenting with new concepts for creative workflow
• Collaborating with your peers in Engineering, Product Management, and Design to support product decisions and review future implementations
• Co-authoring RFCs to propose new feature implementations, or improvements to existing ones
• Participating in code reviews to shape our code and the way we think and talk about our work

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• You’ve written code in any of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, C++, Dart, Flutter
• Strong object oriented programming fundamentals
• Comfortable deploying and maintaining code within a mobile application environment, including working with simulators and emulators in Xcode, Android Studio
• Comfortable integrating and testing with APIs, and mocking data in the absence of an available endpoint
• Self-directed towards delivering quality work and generating excellent work outcomes
• Innate curiosity, with keenness to ask questions and communicate effectively
• Preference for working across technical stacks
• Experience with Bloc/Cubit state management architecture in Flutter

BONUS:
• Experience playing an instrument, singing, and/or using music creation software
• Experience with GraphQL
• React Native experience, in the absence of Flutter experience
• Audio engineering and/or digital signal processing experience
• Intuition with common design patterns
• General knowledge of foreign function interfaces

The national pay range for this role is $129,500 - $154,500. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.

You will be on the front lines of our business, and we are looking for individuals who can bring their best and help our clients achieve their business goal in creating a functional work spaces.

Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a team to build office systems at client sites; assembling, removing, and ensuring the quality of a variety of high-level office furniture and related products
• Communicate effectively to both internal and external business partners
• Perform shipping and receiving functions as necessary using some of the latest technology to track and manage product inventory
• Accurately complete and submit required paperwork such as timesheets, merchandise forms, delivery tickets, change orders and punch lists
• Represent and embody our culture of innovation, creativity, and above all exemplary customer service

Qualifications:

Education/Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 or more years of related work experience; installation of commercial office furniture experience required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Bring expertise working within a logistics, construction, moving, or warehouse environment
• Understand and be able to work from blueprints, elevations, typicals, and specifications
• Demonstrate a high level of professional competency in the use of hand and power tools
• Be mindful of safety policies and procedures in a variety of both finished and new construction work environments

The POPs Project Manager plans, directs and coordinates activities of Splice projects with internal and external partners to ensure that the goals and objectives of each project are accomplished within scope and customer requirements.

• Intake all POPs (post occupancy projects) requests via client ticketing system
• Vets requests to determine internal resources needed to move forward with projects
• Responsible for ensuring that project progress is on schedule and remains within scope
• Point of contact for all customer service related matters on job site
• Maintains communication with Operations on projects
• Responsible for Punch List review and for ensuring punch list items are completed
• Communicates project status with stakeholders as needed
• Coordinates crew scheduling, building access, product staging and assembly where applicable
• Attends internal and vendor partner meetings as required
• Critically thinking through issues without being assigned
• Read and interpret documents such as CAD drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to facilitate meetings with stakeholders and advanced presentation skills
• Regular travel to campus to provide onsite support preferred but not required
