Job Summary:

The Systems Engineering Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).

The Radar Systems Department is seeking a Program Data Manager to support programs of the SPY-6 Family of Radars. As a Program Data Manager, you will be responsible for managing the classified data storage across all SPY-6 programs, and handling data transfers from external sites. This position can be located in Marlborough, MA (prefer) or Tewksbury, MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Performing frequent and emergency data transfers from external media onto the classified network
• Determine the correct location and analyst to move the data to
• Manage and maintain available storage (e.g. cleaning up old data, etc.)
• Work with offsite POCs to coordinate data shipments
• Work with Security regarding classified items and inventories
• Maintain proper documentation, inventories and retention/destruction of classified items
• This position requires on-site support

Qualification You Must Have:
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
• Experience in an engineering lab environment area such as: safety, security, compliance, logistics and/or data management
• An Active and in-scope US Secret Security Clearance

Job Summary:

Our Aegis program is a team of diverse professionals who are developing and fielding the most advanced shipboard radar. In this role you will provide technical support to the Sejong the Great Class destroyers (Batch-I, DDGs 991, 992 and 993) of the Republic of Korea Navy (RoKN). As a dedicated technician providing support on all areas related to the SPY-1D(V) Transmitter.

This unaccompanied role will be Onsite at a port city in ( Republic of) South Korea, a 6-month rotation OCONUS/CONUS will be considered.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

+ Provide in country support for batch one KDX III shipsets supporting the onsite US Test Team.

+ Assist with installation, integration, testing, operating, maintaining, and the repair and modification of the complex radar systems (SPY-1D(V)) and the MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS) in support of the delivery of new construction warships to the ROK Navy as well supporting the Aegis Fleet.

+ Maintain, align, troubleshoot, and repair SPY-1D(V), MMSP Transmitter Equipment and Fire Control Systems (FCS) on board ROK Navy Aegis class Destroyer, KDX-III ships, fitted with the SPY-1D(V) radar and the Aegis combat systems.

+ Utilizing state of- the-art test equipment and operational readiness test systems.

+ Participate in the installation and planning phase of shipboard equipment.

+ Analyze equipment failures to resolve root cause to then recommend and implement corrective action.

+ Perform ordnance alterations (ORDALT) and change incorporation notices (CIN) to the radar.

+ Perform intricate backplane and chassis wiring modifications as well as mechanical modifications to all FCS SPY hardware.

+ Prepare and submit reports of equipment discrepancies and possible solutions.

+ Provide guidance and training to ROK Navy technicians on all facets of the SPY radar and MK99 FCS.

+ Devise and implement preventive maintenance programs and regularly keep performance and maintenance records on equipment.

+ Communicate the orchestration of job tasks between multiple group organizations.

+ Communicate with peers, higher-ups, and customers .

+ Work with minimal supervision.

+ Accept temporary assignments that require at sea support on board ROK Navy ships in support of Aegis Systems.

+ Travel to Naval shipyards to support installations and technical assists CONUS and OCONUS.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

+ Aegis C School on Aegis SPY-1D (V) and FCS Transmitters DCC MK15.

+ Formal training in Basic Electronics Electricity (RF, Digital, and Analog), thorough state electronics and Microwave philosophy.

+ Experience working with the Aegis Weapon System, on board US Navy Aegis Class destroyers (DDG-91 through DDG-112).

+ E xperience supporting installations and projects.

+ Experience with electronics, resources, and test equipment.

+ Experience with radar coolant systems and repair.

+ Experience with working around high voltage.

+ Experience maintaining Aegis documentation, providing feedback reports to Quality Assurance, and providing solutions to a variety of complex problems.

+ Comprehension of understanding and application of Radar concepts and industry practices.

+ Comprehension of ORTS (Operational Readiness Test System).

+ Comprehension of electrical mechanical schematics, multi-pin connectors and repair.

+ Comprehension of basic RF Cable construction and repair.

+ Active and transferable US government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with Aegis (SPY-1D(V) and the MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS).

+ Experience with electronics, RF processes and calculations, digital and analog processes, and the ability to troubleshoot these areas.

+ Experience working on SPY Transmitter variants and FCS Transmitters.

+ Experience with wire wrap and soldering skills, general hand instrument use and electrical instrument uses.

+ Experience working overseas on international assignments.

+ Experience in word processing and spreadsheet creation.
