Responsibilities to Anticipate:

+ Provide in country support for batch one KDX III shipsets supporting the onsite US Test Team.

+ Assist with installation, integration, testing, operating, maintaining, and the repair and modification of the complex radar systems (SPY-1D(V)) and the MK 99 Fire Control System (FCS) in support of the delivery of new construction warships to the ROK Navy as well supporting the Aegis Fleet.

+ Maintain, align, troubleshoot, and repair SPY-1D(V), MMSP Transmitter Equipment and Fire Control Systems (FCS) on board ROK Navy Aegis class Destroyer, KDX-III ships, fitted with the SPY-1D(V) radar and the Aegis combat systems.

+ Utilizing state of- the-art test equipment and operational readiness test systems.

+ Participate in the installation and planning phase of shipboard equipment.

+ Analyze equipment failures to resolve root cause to then recommend and implement corrective action.

+ Perform ordnance alterations (ORDALT) and change incorporation notices (CIN) to the radar.

+ Perform intricate backplane and chassis wiring modifications as well as mechanical modifications to all FCS SPY hardware.

Basic Qualifications:

Job Summary:

The SPY-6 System Integration & Test Cross Product Team (CPT) Lead is responsible for all System Integration, Sell-off and Flight Test activities across all SPY-6 programs (AMDR, EASR, ROCR, Empire, and ADR) and other related contracts. The SI&T CPT Lead is the SPY-6 engineering team’s interface to the Engineering Directorates and one of the most senior engineering representatives on the SPY-6 program leadership team. These activities include but are not limited to Directorate Estimates at Completion (EACs), Directorate level proposal reviews, staffing projections and Directorate monthly tracking. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Manage the execution of all scope of work assigned to the I&T CPT, determine the allocation of personnel within the team to perform that work, and review and approve any I&T contract deliverables before delivery to the customer.
• Support SPY-6 growth through proposal development and the deployment and continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools.
• Represent the interests of the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate on the program.
• Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering products that include integration plans, integration information summaries, test plans, verification items, analysis scripts, test procedures and test reports.
• Extensive interaction with Program Managers, Business Development, Directorate Managers, and Business Area VPs to achieve Business objectives.
• Responsible for interface and coordination with internal and external organizations on integration and test planning, coordination, execution and reporting activities.
• Identification, establishment and implementation of best practices and lessons learned.
• Oversight of applicable phases of the Gate process to maximize business performance.
• Work with customers to develop and execute program test strategies.
• Occasional travel between Marlborough, MA and Tewksbury, MA.

Basic Qualification:
• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and twelve (12) years of prior experience in Systems Engineering and/or System Integration, Verification and Validation.
• Experience with system requirements sell-off.
• 5+ years in technical and program leadership positions (IPT lead, CPT lead, Project Manager, Test Director, etc.)
• Experience in management of diverse engineering teams
• Experience preparing both technical and cost proposals.
• EVMS Level 2 Certified and Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualification:
• Level 6 or higher PMX certification
• Experience with in-plant system sell-off, automated testing and automated analysis.
• Competitive Capture Volume lead or proposal lead experience
• Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle
