We are looking for someone with an appetite for identifying business trends, and an aptitude for rigorous data collection, analysis, and thoughtful presentation.

Responsibilities:
• Write articles, deliver presentations, and produce insights for executives about current trends in staffing and workforce solutions
• Conduct surveys and other industry research related to business conditions, financial and operating benchmarks, and strategic planning
• Assemble data files, and process and analyze data in spreadsheets and other data formats
• Assist other members of the Research Team with data collection and qualitative note taking, data analysis, and the production of graphs, reports, and presentation slides
• Participate in meetings/calls with executives/owners at staffing firms and record insights, ask relevant questions, and built rapport
• Travel and participate in SIA’s executive conferences in order to moderate panel discussions or present research findings

Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent knowledge
• One or more years of experience in a professional business setting preferred.
• Ability to work independently, including production of spreadsheets, presentation slides, and written articles, with a high degree of rigor and impeccable attention to detail.

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Pay Transparency Disclosure:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $100,000.

The final salary offering will take into account a wide range of factors, including experience, accomplishments and location. The salary range provided should not be considered as a salary limit or cap. In addition to base salary, Crain also offers competitive benefits including retirement plan savings contributions and bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.

• High level of adaptability to pivot and meet changing priorities, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be technically savvy – Proficient with electronic recruiting resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, various VMS tools, and Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work in and manage teams in a remote based work environment
