We are looking for a U.S. Regulatory Operations Manager to join Operations Financial Markets business division in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Financial Markets (FM) business can continue to serve clients in an ever-changing regulatory environment. The role involves implementing the processes and controls for US regulatory obligations, streamlining regulatory changes that impact Financial Markets Operations' processes and controls, and managing internal communications to various stakeholders to ensure they are kept abreast of relevant developments and project milestones. The US Regulatory Operations Manager will report to the Head of Financial Markets Regulatory Operations. You will play a key role in maintaining our compliance in an ever-changing regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the Financial Markets business can continue to service clients in compliance with the regulatory environment
• Execute the processes and controls for US regulatory obligations in regards to part 43 and 45 of CFTC and rules 901 and 902 of SEC SBSR
• Rationalize regulatory changes impacting Financial Markets Operations and ensure that the U.S. regulatory process is operating effectively
• Assist with the implementation of future-proofed, fit-for-purpose reconciliation processes while ensuring seamless changes for clients
• Support identification and delivery management of strategic MI, including migration of existing MI to the strategic stack
• Manage internal communications and project milestones to keep stakeholders up-to-date
• Monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to the role
• Assess the effectiveness of the Group's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and external vendors
• Ensure strong understanding of post-trade regulations and requirements, including Dodd-Frank and Canada
Key Competencies:
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Deep understanding of relevant regulations and requirements, including CFTC Part 43 and 45, SEC Regulation SBSR rule 901 and 902,
• Familiarity with Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation Global Trade Repository and International Swaps and Derivatives Association working groups.

• Technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Essential Criteria:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field

Expected annual base pay range for the role is $95,570 to $143,354. Job Summary...
Due to the bank growth, we are looking for a Director of Transaction Banking Sales - Financial Institutions to join Standard Chartered Bank in New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing individual portfolio sales strategy for established relationships with key North American Financial Institution clients and representing the bank as the lead sales person for financial institution clients from across North America. They will be responsible for end-to-end sales of cash management and international trade finance solutions in addition to other products, contributing to the team's business plans, and ensuring profitable and quality business. The candidate should have a deep understanding of client relationship management, sales, proposals and presentations, strategic sales planning, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent the bank as the lead salesperson for financial institution clients from across North America.
• Originate responsibilities across all other products offered to clients in North America, including foreign exchange, interest rate derivatives, repo finance, debt capital markets, and loan syndication.
• Develop profitable and quality business to ensure profit targets as agreed are met, if not exceeded.
• Contribute to the team's business plans for the expansion of business opportunities in strategic target areas.
• Maintain proactive relationship with product partners, risk approvers, and marketing unit.
• Prepare call plans prior to customer visits to establish objectives, determine customer needs, track product requirements.
• Work with the coverage and client management teams to deliver Correspondent Banking Client Due Diligence for bank clients in accordance with group standards.
• Work with credit analysts to ensure that credit applications for new and existing facilities including renewals are correctly prepared in accordance to Group standards.
• Prepare Clearing services Proposals as appropriate. Discussion and follow up with customer once proposals have been submitted.
• Proactively work with the Service Delivery Units in Country to ensure quality customer services are provided to customers. Key Competencies:
• Thorough understanding of sales and relationship management
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Detailed understanding of the customer's product line
• Expertise in negotiating and closing deals with customers
• Experience in developing strategic sales plans to meet business objectives
• Ability to identify opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
• Good understanding of the data analytics process, including data collection, cleansing, modeling and visualization.
• Familiarity with the processes of large multinational banks
Essential Criteria:
• 5 years' experience in transaction banking
• Degree in a related field such as business, finance, economics, accounting, or management
• Proven track record of generating revenue and developing new business opportunities
• Background working with portfolio multilateral, international entities or as a coverage banker, relationship manager and/or transaction banking sales to financial institutions is desired
