Responsibilities
• Maintains product in Store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand-truck); utilizing hand tools; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building, changing, and taking down product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space; and securing damaged or defective product.
• Manages backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock (product); identifying, monitoring, and reporting backstock inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged or defective product; re-packing product; organizing backroom materials (for example, pallets, product shells); operating powered equipment (for example, straddle stacker, powered pallet jack) and manual equipment (for example, pallet jack); completing Store documentation; and cleaning backroom.
• Maintains areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to Store and Company personnel; identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions; attending and completing Company training and certifications; following Company and Store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety; following applicable local, state, and federal laws; utilizing a mobile device to complete work activities; and operating a motor vehicle.
• Provides customer service to Consumers and Store personnel by identifying and resolving concerns; answering questions; locating products and responding to assistance requests.

Physical Abilities
• Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling; squatting; reaching above the head; reaching the waist; reaching below the knees; and bending at the knees.
• Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack, hand-truck) containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.

The Volunteer Support Coordinator (VSC) is responsible for helping our volunteer troop leaders and Service Unit leads so that Girl Scouts can have a great time. When you're not out and about, the position duties may be done remotely until we establish a State College office - however, you MUST be located in Centre, Huntingdon, Juniata, or Mifflin county, since the position requires regular travel throughout this area! Out-of-area applicants will be rejected unless you provide notice on your cover letter or resume with your intent to relocate.

Other requirements:
• Proficiency with MS Office and virtual meeting platforms
• Ability to travel throughout Centre, Huntingdon, Juniata, and Mifflin counties, as well as to our corporate headquarters, as needed (driver's license and access to reliable transportation)
• An outgoing and friendly personality and a desire to increase our Girl Scout membership throughout the area
• Top notch conflict resolution skills and the ability to work with challenging personalities
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, to attend troop/Service Unit meetings or recruitment events

Job Description:
The Health Sciences Department offers vocational credit Medical Assisting courses in the following format: face-to-face. Adjunct instructors instruct students, develop curricula, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation, and maintain College and department standards. This position reports to the Health Sciences Department Head.

Minimum Qualifications:

To teach in the Medical Assisting program you must be an EKG technician, Paramedic, Registered Nurse, OR Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of relevant work experience, appropriate certifications/license, and current BLS for health care providers.
Successful results of a criminal background check are also required. Instructors must be able to use technology required for assigned course(s).
