Qualified applicants will have a journalism degree, degree in a similar field or applicable work experience; a deep knowledge of AP style; the availability to work some nights, weekends and holidays; a current driver’s license and transportation; and most importantly, a serious desire to perform great community journalism.

• Responsible for auditing and reporting of daily operational closing/night run
• Responsible for front desk and managing guest requests in a efficient manner
• Responsible for taking walk-in reservations for guests
• Adhere to the Steamboat Culture Guide
• Checking in guests, while entering the appropriate guest information and providing detailed information about our resort
Minimum skills, experience and education required for this job:
• High school diploma or GED, required
• One year related experience or education required
• Knowledge of basic accounting applications required
• Computer and guest service skills required
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards
Physical Requirements:
• Must work graveyard (overnight) shift
• Operate calculator and/or computer keyboard for long periods of time
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Read, write and communicate verbally in English in a clear and professional manner
