Responsibilities
• Provide direction for controls equipment locations for safety, maintenance and production consideration for tool install and through launch.
• Analyze customer requirements and map to NGAVS systems design.
• Develop process flow diagrams based on customer input.
• Own for the integration of NGAVS with Vehicle Operations tooling and process control systems.
• Work with vendor controls engineers to install, test, and debug standard NGAVS logic and drivers.
• Create custom PLC code for plant unique situations or modify standard templates and AOLs to address issues identified by others.
• Modify standard HMI code for AllenBradley PanelView HMIs for plant specific requirements.
• May also direct the efforts of others, including agency personnel or third-party controls integrators, depending on the project assigned.
• To support New Model Program, build events (TT, PP, MP1&2) the candidate may be required to work during nonstandard hours, such as evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Skills Required
• Rockwell Allen-Bradly PLC5 and ControlLogix in an automobile manufacturing environment.
• Rockwell AllenBradley PanelView HMI's
• Rockwell Factory Talk Production Center.
• Experience with SmartEye vehicle identification.
• Experience with SICK barcode scanners or equivalent (e.g. Keyence, Cognex).
• Experiences in Ethernet, Device Net, Profinet, Profibus, etc., networking, especially Ethernet/IP.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all levels of operating management.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build close working relationships with customers.

Experience Required
• 5+ years of experience with Allen-Bradly PLC5 and ControlLogix in an automobile manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of experience with AllenBradley PanelView HMI's

Experience Preferred
• Assembly plant experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD drawing package

Skills Preferred
• Demonstrated aptitude to learn and apply new technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member in the team.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Education Required
• B.S./M.S. Electrical Engineering preferred. Computer Science degree with emphasis on Controls Systems or Manufacturing Systems also acceptable.

The Maintenance Supervisor will assist with all maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potential is realized for the entire plant operation. This includes all functions in the areas of Maintenance Business Management, Maintenance Materials Inventory (MRO), Maintenance Recruit to Retire, Manufacturing Process Reliability and Equipment Reliability, e.g. departmental budgets, computerized maintenance management systems, preventive/predictive and corrective maintenance programs. Also, Technical Skills Management of electrical, electronics, controls programming, mechanical systems (process equipment, packaging equipment), waste treatment, stockroom, building and grounds, utilities systems including but not limited to boiler and ammonia refrigeration. Assistance with the development, coordination and execution of maintenance related capital budget items in concert with engineering.
• Directs maintenance personnel to ensure that all systems operate at their highest capability to meet required production schedules, quality, costs, and schedule priorities
• Improves reliability, maintenance, and processing methods to reduce cost and avoid loss of production as a result of equipment malfunction or failure time.
• Determines equipment capabilities, safety, and operational condition in coordination with the other Supervisors and technicians.
• Develops preventative maintenance procedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life of the equipment.
• Seek and implement the continuous improvement of the process through equipment improvement modifications.
• Assist in the development of the system and operational standards and corrective actions.
• Develops, implements, and reviews regularly, site-specific maintenance logs for department.
• Coordinates, arranges, and supervises, or provides for the completion of corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance with company operating procedures, practices and financial considerations.
• Provide maintenance training to include the effective utilization of the maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance specific to facility, equipment operations and support.
• Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Assist with preparing requisitions to determine the number of spare parts to be kept in inventory.
• Assist in maintaining departmental operating budget at a positive variance by effectively utilizing the workforce and equipment.
• Assist with safety training, monthly safety meetings, member of safety committee, and provides technical support for all safety projects, and supports implementation of the 9-key element process.
• Evaluates long-term needs in relation to major projects and factory improvements.
• Ensures that equipment and facility are maintained in a safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement/upgrades.
• Establishes procedures and contacts to ensure timely repairs of equipment.
• Directs workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, and utility systems maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Directs workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
• Assists with developing department employee relations by continued communication of all information affecting them and through the conduct of monthly departmental safety meetings. This is further enhanced by employee and personal participation in the Plant Safety and Ergonomics committees.
• Analyzes production downtime reports, determines opportunities, and initiates action plan to increase efficiencies.
• Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
• Oversee and lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list in order to achieve targeted RCR.
• Assist and partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement (Six Sigma / Lean) including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
• Assist with the supervision of Maintenance staff including but not limited to performance management and employee development, etc.
• Communicate with outside agencies i.e. contractors, equipment suppliers, technical consultants, and vendors.
• Continuous and close coordination with the Maintenance Manager, other Maintenance Supervisor(s), other Team Members, and Human Resources.

Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Technical field is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 1-5 years of related leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
• Must Haves Leadership experience, 7-14 direct reports previously, SAP experience, prior manufacturing environment (food or pharmaceuticals).
• Must be familiar with maintenance management system operations.
• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM Systems is strongly preferred.
• Understanding mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems is a plus.
• Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems.
• Experience using, troubleshooting, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekend work.

We are seeking a Remediation Specialist for our engineering and utilities client in South Plainfield, NJ. This position will support various Project Managers in the review technical documents such as Remedial Investigation Reports and Remedial Action Work Plans, oversight of soil and groundwater investigation/sampling activities and oversight of large complex remedial construction projects. You should have a background in geology, civil engineering, environmental science, or a related engineering degree, plus OSHA training.
• Conduct technical reviews and research to support environmental remedial activities
• Site investigations in the field
• Track regulatory and contractor activities to ensure compliance with NJDEP regulations and guidance and contract commitments
• Interpret NJDEP guidance and regulations and make recommendations on applicability
• Track project contract and regulatory commitments
• Review and approve monthly invoice and consultant/contractor change orders
• Complete project meeting minutes for their assigned projects on a timely basis.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously within a matrix organization
• Work frequently on-site at various locations in New Jersey. Expect to be in the office in South Plainfield or in Newark at least 2 days per week.
• Make decisions and recommendations to environmental consultants and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely, in accordance with contract documents and in compliance with NJDEP rules and regulations.
• A bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science or related engineering discipline
• A minimum of 3 years experience with investigation and remediation of contaminated sites in New Jersey is required.
• OSHA Training, and preferably OSHA Health and Safety requirements and requirements for Hazardous Waste Site Operations
• Field and health and safety experience conducting soil and ground water investigations and large, complex soil and groundwater remedial actions in New Jersey.
• Experience with financial budgeting and forecasting, invoicing and change order review
• Must be very knowledgeable of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Site Remediation regulations and guidance
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Remediation project management experience is a plus.
