Our International Supply organization is seeking Business Development Manager for the Asia Pacific region. We may engage the successful candidate as a consultant if we cannot hire them as an employee in their country of residence.

The Role is to be based in Australia.

All key supplier relationships outside of North America are managed by the international supply team. The Business Development Manager – APAC reports to the International Sales Lead. We provide an A+ Compensation package while providing an environment where you can quickly grow your skills and knowledge and have the autonomy to lead and develop your region.

We would like to see someone who has:
• 3+ years of experience leading end-to-end sales cycles
• Track record of success as a top performer within a sales organization
• Experience in account management
• Passion for live events
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and related data skills to create sales presentations and deal post-mortems
• You own client-facing conversations and complex negotiations
• Excellent communication skills and English fluency are essential, another language such as Mandarin or Japanese is a distinct advantage

As a Business Development Manager at viagogo, you’ll be able to:
• Lead a team of regional supply specialists remotely while managing all communications required to achieve high-level objectives in your region
• Ability to build, grow, and maintain strong commercial relationships with existing and new suppliers
• Acquire new ticket suppliers across sports, concerts, theater, and other live events through networking and developing personal relationships
• Represent your region internally to the International Sales Lead by communicating your progress in monthly/quarterly meetings.
• Monitor all relevant KPIs in your region and independently identify high-value projects that will move the needle there
• Review the company’s operations across all countries in your market to ensure that we are consistently delivering high-quality service to both sellers and buyers
• Run an end-to-end sales process with full prospecting, pipeline, and existing account management responsibilities
• Achieve mutually beneficial and industry-leading economic terms through complex negotiations
• Be the key point of contact for your region’s largest suppliers
