Who you are:

We are looking for a multifaceted Customer Care Representative to join our Operations team at Sumup. This is a hybrid role - splitting time between working in our El Paso office and remote. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively responding to and resolving a variety of customer support issues. This role requires someone with a strong level of empathy, adaptability, and a passion for people.

A Day in the Life:
• Interact with and support customers effectively through a variety of communication channels (e.g. email, phone, and social)
• Use systems for tracking, information gathering, or troubleshooting; thoroughly document inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis
• Respond to inquiries and may refer customers to secondary sources, supporting the needs of internal customers
• Handle multiple call types, i.e. billing issues, product training, internet connectivity, and hardware technical support
• Recognize common issues and think of ways to solve them permanently
• Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources
• Work cross-functionally within the Operations department, suggesting improvements of processes where necessary
• Assist with projects and other duties assigned within the organization

• You have 1 - 3 years of call center experience. An associate’s degree preferred

A day in the life:
• Manage sales development organization to exceed goals, objectives, and quota achievement

Who you are:

SumUp is seeking an hands-on Assembly Worker to support our US Supply Chain Team. The ideal candidate will be highly dependable, accurate, and effective. This position requires someone who is reliable and has a high standard for quality and can work from our San Jose location 3 days a week.

What you’ll do:
• Assemble Hardware: Follow the established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to complete the assembly of the SumUp hardware. Hardware consists of Display, SBC, WIFI antenna, speakers, plastic housing, rubber feet, and screws.
• Perform Functional Tests: Follow the established SOP to complete the hardware functional verification tests.
• Perform Burn-in Tests: Follow the established SOP to complete the hardware burn-in tests.
• Document RMA Units: Document material that does not meet specifications or fails during functional or burn-in tests.
• Execute Repairs: Units returned from the field to the warehouse in damaged condition can be repaired in-house. Basic troubleshooting, disassembly, replacing bad parts, reassembly, document issues, and run through burn-in tests.
• Focus on Quality: Hold yourself accountable for quality outcomes - gathers, analyzes and distributes data on hardware failures to key stakeholders.

What we're looking for:
• You have 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• You’re extremely dependable.
• You’re extremely organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in your work execution.
• You have a high quality standard and thrive to uphold it.
• You’re available for 18 h/week.

Compensation:
• $17-$20/hour
• Compensation will be finalized based on the candidate’s experience

• Full sales cycle management including territory based prospecting and canvassing.

• Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and powerpoint forms

Compensation:

The OTE for this role is $169,000 - $184,000 based on experience with uncapped bonus potential.
