The Role: Our Sustainable Fixed Income (SFI) business is a rapid growth business, responsible for developing and bringing ESG products catering to the debt capital market for multi-national corporations and financial institutions. Sustainalytics has been recognized as the largest external reviewer of green bonds by Environmental Finance and the Climate Bonds Initiative for several consecutive years.
We're seeking a Product Leader to oversee product management for our Sustainable Fixed Income products. This includes green/social/sustainability bond second-party opinions and other services that help our clients to provide sustainability insights to investors and lenders. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated product management expertise in fixed income or a related product area and a deep commitment to Sustainability. This position can be based in Amsterdam, London, Toronto, Chicago or Frankfurt.

▶ About This Opportunity
The Sr Director, Office of Sustainability is a senior-level position, reporting into EVP, Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer responsible for leading 7-Eleven’s sustainability efforts. This includes developing and implementing sustainability strategies, managing sustainability projects, and monitoring and reporting on sustainability performance. The Head of Sustainability also plays a vital role in promoting sustainability within the organization and to the parent company, 7&I Holdings, and other external stakeholders.
Strategic Leadership
• Lead the development and expansion of 7-Eleven’s new ESG strategy.
• Lead and ensure strategic alignment of all ESG efforts, including working within the framework of ESG governance on overall short-and-long-term strategies.
• Lead the ongoing implementation of all current ESG strategic initiatives while developing new initiatives in support of the strategy.
• Providing budget oversight of all sustainability initiatives, including forecasting, reporting, and budget development.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and industry partners.
• Promote 7-Eleven’s ESG strategy and accomplishments to a wide variety of stakeholder groups internally and externally.

ESG Subject Matter Expert
• Maintain pulse and serve as subject matter expert on global ESG landscape including issues, best practices, regulations, etc.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability-related regulations (current and anticipated).
• Measure and monitor sustainability initiatives for impact.
• Integrate sustainable practices across all lines of business.
• Work with 3rd party consultants to evaluate market risks while formulating future plans for addressing those risks in alignment agreed upon frameworks (i.e., TCFD).
Communications
• Report on sustainability performance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide input into key areas of 7-Eleven’s communication strategy (i.e., Proxy Disclosures, Press Releases, Annual Reports, etc.)
• Work with key 3rd party ESG advisors and data providers (i.e., TCFD, GRESB, Sustainalytics, MSCI, etc.) in the submission and communication of the Company’s accomplishments and monitor changes in ratings that may impact the Company’s overall ESG strategy.
Team Leadership

As a member of Clorox's Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) team, this experienced data management professional will play an important role in our ESG journey. The ESG Data and Reporting Lead will primarily be responsible for supporting reporting and analysis of our carbon footprint to ultimately help us achieve our net zero commitment. This role will also be responsible for advancing reporting and analysis in other ESG areas that are important to our business. This includes taking a lead role as we migrate our systems to enable greater automation in the collection, storage and validation of our ESG data.
The ideal candidate will be able to analyze data, produce actionable insights, and create data visualizations and dashboards for stakeholders with varying levels of familiarity with the ESG topics - including executive leaders and investors.
In this role, you will:
• Analyze data for accuracy and alignment with Clorox's ESG targets and GHG Protocol, SBTi and other relevant accounting and disclosure standards that emerge (e.g. SEC, ISSB).
• Quantify and present Clorox's annual carbon footprint and related analyses to support IGNITE ESG targets; identify and evaluate carbon accounting best practices, updated methods, and the latest emission factors from accepted external sources.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data needed for Clorox's annual ESG reporting needs including the integrated annual report and key ratings and rankings; prepare reports and presentations on ESG performance, trends, and recommendations for various stakeholders, including senior management, board of directors, investors, and external rating agencies.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including synthesizing findings and developing a storyline to support ESG communications.
• Partner with key internal stakeholders including the ESG controllership to advance our data governance framework and maintain documentation of processes, procedures and SOPs around data collection, verification, and assurance of ESG metrics and KPIs.
• Serve as a lead in the development and implementation of an ESG data management system that will serve as a repository for reliable, auditable ESG data for various sustainability topics; identify and recommend methods and processes to streamline the collection, storage, and verification of ESG data.
• Support reporting for key ratings and rankings including CDP, DJSI, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS and others; identify and recommend ways to track return on ESG investments.
• Stay abreast of relevant regulations, standards (e.g., ISSB, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), and disclosure requirements related to ESG reporting.
What we look for:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in environmental science, sustainability, or business; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in ESG data tracking, analysis, and management.
• Experience with non-financial reporting and ESG standards and reporting frameworks and ratings, including SASB, TCFD, SDGs, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics and S&P.
• Experience with GHG data and protocols.
• Experience with data systems including SAP; experience in implementing data visualizations in Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant tool preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to present metrics, explain findings, and articulate issues and challenges together with proposed solutions.
