Position Overview

The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a critical role focused on supporting the sales team in reaching maximum sales productivity to promote the Teaching Strategies ecosystem and new business performance. Sales Operations works closely with the Sales team to develop and expand net new opportunities while providing quality experiences for our customers.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, forward-thinking, and creative strategic partner. This person will focus on collaborating with Sales team members to provide scalable and measurable processes related to selling our solutions. As a main support to our Sales team, this individual is expected to work effectively with team members and support multiple different projects.

This role requires strong communication skills and refined execution, so we are looking for a candidate eager to experiment, explore new tactics, and continually improve our ability to understand the needs of the sales team and our customers.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide support to Sales team members using various Sales Tools (i.e. Salesforce and SalesLoft)
• Offers consistent and reliable access to sales pipeline, custom reports, and performance analysis
• Assist in securing customer purchasing documentation (i.e. forms of payment, signed orders, and quote creation)
• Manage and update Salesforce account validation in designated territories
• Support Sales team members in building customer outreach campaigns
• Identify sales team needs for on-going sales tools training and communicate needs with the Sales Ops team
• Support customer trials with administrative onboarding and organizing consistent communication
• Provide amazing sales team support and bring your own unique thoughts, strategies, and ideas to advance our mission and values at Teaching Strategies
• Serve as a valued partner and liaison between Sales team members and the Sales Operations team

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years professional experience
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM (preferred)
• Experience with SalesLoft or other Sales enablement platform (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask with maximum flexibility and independence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative, creative, and challenging environment
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Position Overview

As an Account Executive with our organization, you are responsible for selling Teaching Strategies' full line of products and services to the early childhood markets. You work to identify, direct, and coordinate sales opportunities with the support and collaboration of our internal teams. You will build upon an existing foundation of established success in the marketplace, and also increase market share by using a collaborative, consultative approach with customers.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
• Build, maintain, and develop knowledge to become an expert on Teaching Strategies' products and services, as well as the competitive landscape for early childhood development
• Achieves defined sales revenue numbers for the assigned territory
• Contributes to the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan for the territory
• Actively seeks to uncover and meet the needs of customers and prospects by building collaborative relationships and delivering solutions
• Participates in new license and renewal/upsell call campaigns and marketing programs to uncover new business opportunities for your assigned territory
• Qualifies leads and works collaboratively with the field sales team to complete the full cycle of the sales process (i.e., contacting potential clients, conducting sales presentations, attending exhibits and conferences) or handles the full cycle of the sales process for customers of a certain size
• Strategically and creatively manages opportunity pipeline
• Develops and maintains product and industry knowledge
• Utilizes Salesforce to track pipeline information related to the opportunity and maintain all sales-related progress in Salesforce for a given territory
• Maintains existing relationships with customers, and channels customer feedback appropriately
• Communicates regularly with Manager and other members of the sales team
• Timely follow up to all phone and email communication regarding potential sales opportunities, document and keep track of all communication
• Communicates on a regularly scheduled basis with clients within the territory regarding new products, renewals, and overall experience.
• Strategic travel to clients throughout the assigned territory, as needed
• Occasional domestic travel required for in-person team, department, and company meetings

Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in Inside Sales with a track record of success; education and/or technology sales experience highly desired
• Experience performing market analysis and building/managing a sales pipeline
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM solution is highly desired
• Ability to work a schedule to accommodate an assigned territory
• Mastery of successful selling skills such as listening, determining needs, answering questions, proposing solutions and closing the sale
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and relationship building
• Knowledge of educational structures and ability to sell to multiple decision makers at multiple levels a plus
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational skills and presentation skills

The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. Additionally, this person will be responsible for establishing and enforcing proper accounting processes, policies and controls. The Assistant Controller will provide back-up support to other members of the Accounting team as needed.

• Support acquisition integration and purchase accounting when necessary
• Develop and support international business growth and processes
• Ensure state and local tax compliance, including registrations and accurate, timely filings
• Assist with year-end audit activities, including PBC list management and auditor correspondence
• Maintain and oversee the development of accounting policies and processes
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Occasional domestic travel required for in-person team, department, and company meetings

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Public accounting experience preferred
• CPA license required
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with hiring, training, and supervising employees
• Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and 842
• Experience with international operations
• Experience with acquisition integrations and consolidations
• Advanced knowledge of Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• General curiosity and inquisitive nature
