20% - Assign, organize and prioritize projects for the technical support team. Work with Technical Support Center (TSC) Manager to supervise team. Provide team with function and technical direction and leadership at instruction of TSC manager. Develop and provide Key Performance Index (KPI) and Business Process Improvement (BPI) to encourage performance improvement, effectiveness and efficiency. Key elements of the performance metrics should address are Quality of Services, Customer Satisfaction, Timely Delivery, Cycle Time Reduction, Fulfilling Commitments and Alignment with KU IT Organization Mission.

20% - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Effectively consult with users about computer system issues, such as: requirement analysis, computer hardware/software/network system specifications, maintenance, development, support and cost.

20% - Meet customer requirements through first contact resolutions with excellent customer satisfaction. Confirm customer understanding of the solution and provide additional customer education as needed. Create and document trouble tickets as indicated by the workflow. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Works with the Cyber Security Team to help assess, monitor, and strengthen our’ core IT systems to keep them safe from compromise and ensure that they remain compliant with evolving best practices in systems administration and security.
• Engineers are senior-level members of the team who are responsible for high-level strategic consulting and relationship building, executing large projects that are both technically and politically complex with minimal oversight, and supporting the rest of the team in technical troubleshooting, responding to urgent security incidents, and providing high-level technical assessment and strategy.
• Execute and help other members of the team to execute projects that fall within the Cyber Security team’s set of standardized service offerings, which currently include the following:
• Infrastructure Strategy planning, involving assessment of existing network and systems architectures and developing blueprints for migrating to more streamlined setups
• Implementation of Intune tooling to protect mobile devices against threats.
• Enrolling Windows, iOS, MacOS, Android devices to Intune
• Creating Mobile Device Management policies to manage mobile devices
• Creating Mobile Application Management policies to secure applications on mobile devices
• Securing Office 365 platform
• Security Event Response, including forensic investigation, rapid vulnerability mitigation, and ad-hoc strategic planning to plug the bigger holes that led to the breach

Knowledge Skills Preferred

Above all, Infrastructure & Security Consultants have a passion for social service, excellent written and verbal skills, and an eagerness to take on new challenges and master new skills. Skills required in this position include:
• Experience with the nonprofit sector or other mechanisms for social change (including but not limited to volunteering, advocacy, and political campaign work)
