Position Overview:
TechSmith’s Customer Education team leverages digital events as a key strategy to teach people how to use our products, from how to get started as a beginner, to how to advance as a seasoned professional. One large piece of that strategy is live webinars. Several webinars are conducted each week in three different languages, and vary from a Getting Started series, to bringing in experts on advanced product use cases.
The Digital Events Intern will support and advance these webinar efforts working alongside full-time members. This go-getter will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions in planning webinars, advertising, analyzing pre and post webinar data, and interacting directly with customers.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the scheduling of all webinars and maintain the webinar landing page
• Recruit TechSmith staff to support the webinar QA and chat
• Design and create engaging thumbnails, descriptions, and email content to promote each webinar
• Coordinate with Marketing to promote webinars through social media and monthly emails
• Manage communication with registrants before and after webinars
• Analyze webinar performance reports and apply learnings to shape future success
• Facilitate and present webinar content (optional)
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Background:
• Pursuing a degree in marketing, communication, media & information, or a related field
• Experience in leading or assisting in organizing and promoting events
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and transfer that knowledge to others

Position Overview:
TechSmith’s Website Content Strategist (Webmaster) owns the day-to-day management and maintenance of our global site residing under the techsmith.com domain. This includes owning the roadmap for continual improvements to the customer experience and content strategy/technical SEO evolutions to ensure we continue to meet or exceed our desired traffic and conversion outcomes across our portfolio of brands. • Oversee performance of the TechSmith website to ensure it supports driving awareness of our TechSmith products through educational site content resulting in desired end-to-end customer journey and performance outcomes
• Translate business and marketing strategies into an actionable roadmap in order to evolve our web properties to achieve desired outcomes. (this role will own establishing and reporting on the website success metrics/KPIs focused on achieving company goals)

• Collaborate with UX and external venders to identify opportunities for us to distinguish our website content, design and experience from the competition and keep website modernized using global best practices
• Partner with IT to troubleshoot issues, ensure ongoing security and technical integrity
• Maintain strong ownership of the tools and system frameworks. Ensure resolution of issues as they arise, with an eye towards streamlining processes.

TechSmith is a hybrid workplace with a goal of 4 days remote and 1 day in person for the work week. Interns are encouraged to work in the office with their department alongside their full-time co-workers as their schedule and proximity allows. Hybrid TechSmith's office is located in East Lansing, Michigan. Hybrid employees will have the flexibility to create a schedule to work multiple days from home. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or 3 years equivalent practical experience At least 6 months experience developing software in internships, team projects, professional settings, or personally developed software applications Development experience with C++, C#, Swift, or Java Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of people from many disciplines (Product Owners, Quality Assurance, User Experience, etc.) Candidates must have the ability to work in a remote environment Candidates must reside in, or be willing to move to, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, or Texas before starting their new position.
