Advance Chemical Concepts (ACC) is seeking a purchasing assistant to join our team to help support our purchasing department in placing purchase orders for stock, entering drop ship orders and making sure things come in, in a timely manner. Will report to office located in Strongsville, OH.

Responsibilities:

As a Purchasing Assistant at Advanced Chemical Concepts your primary responsibilities include:
• Work directly with and report to Supply Chain Manager.
• Maintain cordial working relationships with vendors and customers.
• Enter purchase orders and drop ship orders.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Update computer system with order details (dates, quantities, pricing)
• Follow up with suppliers as needed to confirm or change orders.
• Maintain cost updates within computer system.
• Process freight claims with carriers

Responsibilities are reviewed regularly and are subject to revision based on the needs of the company. A successful candidate must be flexible and have a desire to learn, grow and change.

Experience:
• 2 Years procurement experience

Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Criteria:
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have the ability to pass all pre-employment testing including, but not limited to background, MVR, and drug screening.
• Must possess computer skills and be proficient at Outlook, Word and Excel
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
