We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about machine learning technology, big data platforms, and the application of data forward techniques across the product life cycle.

In this role, you will develop long term development & business technology strategies & will lead a cross-functional team to continuously improve Tripadvisor's Machine Learning products as well as the tools & infrastructure for supporting key data products and services. As a Senior PM, you will influence the product strategy, own your roadmap and produce specifications that evolve the platform’s feature set for both internal and external customers, and work closely with engineering to ensure quality deliverables on-time.

Tripadvisor Product Managers work with cross-functional teams of talented and passionate engineers, designers, data scientists and analysts to build products. We are looking for passionate and extremely entrepreneurial Product Managers to help innovate and execute product initiatives across the team.

This position is full time and remote.

What you'll do:
• Develop products and features that drive value for businesses, consumers, and Tripadvisor.
• Understand and influence the product strategy of ML products; actively contribute to OKR planning; build and own your roadmap.
• Develop requirements and specifications that are informed by a combination of technical background in engineering and/or machine learning with strong product sense and excellent communication skills.
• Lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, owning the product from conception through launch to maturity and support.
• Embrace hypothesis testing methodology: work with Data Science, Analytics, Engineering to define, build and launch tests, internalize the learnings, iterate to find and roll out wins.
• Be data driven - always keep your metrics and measurement in mind. Wherever possible, use data to inform and strengthen your argument. Be comfortable to roll up your sleeves and dive into the data.

Skills & Experience:
• 6+ years of comparable internet product management experience, including experience working and innovating on Machine Learning products.
• Extensive technical understanding and demonstrated leadership experience working effectively with engineers, data scientists, ML practitioners, other Product Managers, etc.
• Good business judgment when making decisions and understanding the relevance/impact of each decision on the strategic direction of the team and the business
• Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision-making skills. Able to ask the right questions, interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.
• Strong analytical and creative skills. Able to dive into the complex design tradeoffs of ML-driven products and evolve creative ways to unlock value for users.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences. Ability to partner with different functions to ensure that your solutions drive real business impact.
• Self-motivation, autonomy and tenacity - you have a track record of taking on complex and broad problem sets, creating structure, mobilizing teams, and pushing forward through challenges. All while staying transparent and knowing when to ask for help.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with various audiences across different seniority levels and a spectrum of functions.
• High attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead multiple projects at a time. Successfully able to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.
• Teamwork skills essential; sense of humor preferred.

The salary range for this role is $150,000.00 to $190,000.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.

• Create process how to guides/playbooks/”wikis” for Sales

Skills & Experience
• At least 2 years of experience in sales administration and/or order management
• Fluency in English, a second language is desirable
