Qualifications:

The PR/Communications Coordinator will help our team manage day to day PR tasks, such as assisting with media relations (earned media) and researching paid media placement opportunities. Additionally, the coordinator will play a heavy role in online reputation management and community engagement online, including organic social media. You’ll also have the chance to work directly on a major B2B and B2C advertising campaign focused on digital and OOH strategies. You’re experienced (at least one year in an agency or in-house comms role) and up-to-date with the latest social media trends and have your finger on the pulse of what’s next—whether it’s a new platform or a new strategy. Most of all, you’re committed to quality over quantity and are dedicated to authentic communication with Trustpilot’s followers and customers. You have great instincts when it comes to maintaining and protecting a highly valuable brand image.

You will be reporting to Trustpilot’s Head of Communications - North America.

More about your role and responsibilities
• Responsible for research related to the US earned media plan and paid media plan.
• Assist in Trustpilot’s organic social media strategy and manage relevant postings.
• Build media lists and communicate directly with bloggers, reporters and editors (with supervision).
• Participate in online conversations and analyst relations in order to manage Trustpilot’s reputation.
• Research, apply, and fulfill requirements for Trustpilot to be considered in different company awards.
• Identify relevant PR stories and angles and write pitches, press releases, Q&As, fact sheets and talk-tracks.
• Identify and produce interesting internal stories and videos from the US office that can be shared across our global offices.

Your profile
• 1-2 years of experience in a Communications/PR related role - preferably in an agency environment
• Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, journalism, mass communications or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Exceptional organization and project management skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Initiative to ask questions, pick up the phone, speak to the media, take action and think ahead
• Creative, solutions-oriented thinker with the capacity to understand situations from multiple perspectives
• Interest in the technology industry with social media know-how

The Role
• Work with stakeholders across the company to define consistent global KPIs
• Design and document data stores in Chartio and Google BigQuery to make clean commercial data accessible for all data users

• Build predictive models, applying your statistics and machine learning skills to help us increase lead conversion and reduce customer churn

About You
• 2-3 years of experience in a quantitative role
• Curious, entrepreneurial, and detail-oriented (but still fast-moving!)
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Chartio a plus
• Experience with R, Python, or similar tools
• Data mining skills including data cleaning, validation, aggregation, reporting, modeling techniques, and statistics
• Ability to communicate complex findings in an executive-friendly way
