As Managing Director, Commercial Lead TV, (Buy Side) you are responsible for growing the relationship with LiveRamp’s biggest brands and agencies. You will help LiveRamp account teams bring the best in class, premium video capabilities to current LiveRamp customers and prospects.

This is a quota carrying position and is based in our New York City office or remote in Chicago.

You will:

The Managing Director, Commercial Lead - TV, will lead strategic conversations with assigned agency holding companies and their brands to map their needs to LiveRamp TV products, coupled with the following
• Act as a Solutions Leader, demonstrating a deep understanding of LiveRamp’s TV products and how they map to client solutions, including the ability to identify new opportunities where LiveRamp can add value
• Lead Sales Enablement, working with account quarterbacks and direct sales teams day to day as they work sales cycles as well as provide on-demand, in-market sales support
• Share learnings back to LiveRamp and Data + Math product teams to help advance use cases and surface new revenue opportunities
• Manage forecasting of revenue and growth opportunities, negotiation of contracts, legal documents, and oversight of billing
• Contribute towards building a great company!

Your team will:

Lead the transformation to a more personalized and data-driven TV ecosystem. A key objective for the team is to reduce friction to activate and measure premium video for Brands & Agencies.

About you:

You come with 10 plus years of experience in TV and media analytics, with a deep understanding of these ecosystems, combined with the following experience and skills -
• 10 plus years of experience in sales, business development or channel sales, in a combination of media agency and brands
• Established relationships with key decision makers at large advertisers and ad agencies
• Expertise in shaping complex data flows of the TV technology and analytics industries
• Knowledge of media measurement methodologies (eg incremental sales lift)
• Experience in SaaS sales positions, and closing large, complex deals
• A consultative approach, serving as a key advisor and partner to your clients
• Proven success in driving high-stakes work (eg key accounts, strategic initiatives)
• Exceptional ability to work cross-functionally

As a smart, strategic and entrepreneurial leader who knows how to navigate large complex organizations to close deals, you will succeed if you demonstrate the following -
• A hybrid of experience across sales, TV and relationship management
• Deep understanding of media planning (buy, plan, and optimize) in an agency or brand direct environment as a plus
• Deep understanding of a broad spectrum of analytic tools and databases to effectively position our platform in the metrics landscape
• Can outline a clear path to the business case using exceptional media planning skills, storytelling ability and gravitas with all business levels within an organization, including
• Manage multiple customer sales cycles and close effectively
• Quickly develop strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners within identified territory
• Utilize CRM tools to update and track relevant client related information and prospect activities

• Ability to establish strong working relationships with counterparts and effective relationships with counterparts at the partner

The Role

We deploy a small footprint measurement device in our panelists’ homes. This hardware runs sophisticated computer vision, audio and network algorithms to collect data about our panelists' TV watching activity, and uploads the data to our servers in AWS. There is also a management and monitoring system which lets us keep the fleet of devices healthy and up to date.

As our Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Systems validation and deployment

Ensuring that devices are properly configured.

Testing that software updates work properly and deploy them.

Play an important role in the validation and procurement process of new hardware.

Operational monitoring and troubleshooting

Monitor the health and productivity of the devices.

Identify patterns and severity of failures and work with engineers to prevent and correct them.

Organize and improve support of the fleet of devices

Work with the technicians that directly interact with the panelists and devices.

Organize and prioritize the work for successful releases and operation of the devices.

Design and implement procedures and write code to remotely monitor and maintain the devices.

The Candidate

You are experienced with planning for, deploying, and supporting systems over time.

You have a strong knowledge of the Linux operating system.

You have a deep understanding of network protocols and behavior, including typical home network environments..

You are experienced with Python and Linux shell scripting.

You are skilled with software testing and test automation.

You have excellent troubleshooting skills.

You are skilled with the design and use of system metrics and log analysis software (Grafana, Scalyr, etc).

You clearly and patiently explain issues to less technical team members.

You are a skilled team lead and have mentored, trained and perhaps managed other engineers.

You either already know or are interested in learning these technologies:

configuration management systems (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc)

data analysis using SQL queries

automated integration testing

AWS usage

hands on experience with simple building, reconfiguring and diagnosis of computer hardware
