The team member will retrieve front halves from hopper and position cone on moving conveyor. The shoulder cutter must strip the breast meat from poultry carcass after the shoulder joints have been separated and preliminary cuts have been made in the shoulder area... The team member is responsible for pulling the breast meat in a downward movement away from the carcass. The team member will be required to pick up to three whole wings at a time and use two forward motions into the saw to cut the wing into three pieces. The drums and flats will then be placed in a tub and the wing tips will be placed in a different tub. This position will require the ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position. Team member must separate wing portions from the whole bird or front half. The team member is responsible for the removal of the lift or right wing. The team member is responsible for cutting off excessive amount of meat left on the wing. The wing cutter is also responsible for properly aligning wings on the saw. Team member must also be able to reach production quota. Must perform task deemed necessary by a member of management. Ensure food safety and quality control specifications are met Ensure compliance with all company GMPs Develop maintain and comply with Master Sanitation Schedule Systematically develop clear and well-defined cleaning procedures for all equipment and facility areas Work closely with management and chemical suppliers on chemical and process changes to improve sanitation results and reduce costs Protect product during sanitation Supervise motivate and train sanitation production workers Coordinate all sanitation and some production items for the plant Coordinate with R D and Quality Assurance on all sanitation issues concerning production new products special runs etc. Coordinate with Maintenance on any set-up machinery pump mill problems are addressed Packaging Processing equipment To ensure that quality productivity and Food Safety issues are met Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 2 plus years of manufacturing experience in the food industry; Food industry sanitation experience preferred. Able to read and interpret documents such as MSDS Safety rules and procedure manuals; Able to write reports; Able to compute rate ratio and percent when preparing cleaning chemicals; Efficiently utilize a personal computer outfitted with Microsoft Office software including Word Excel and Outlook EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred; HACCP certification preferred 2 plus years in a similar role; experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Skilled in analytical critical inductive and deductive logic and reasoning Skilled in adaptable flexible yet effective time and scheduling management Occasionally required to conduct meeting or lead groups discussions Relocation Assistance Eligible: No Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America) Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment. What You Will Do Jobs require a higher skill level. (Gutters, Neck Bone Raisers, Rib Pullers, Mule Drivers) Work includes heavy detailed knife work to butcher or bone pork, operate saws and other equipment to process pork, product handling. Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 100+ degrees. Work may include climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, bending, pushing pulling and reaching, standing and walking on hard floors and lifting up to 150 lbs. and push/pull of up to 140 lbs.
