Finance
• Maintain financial bookkeeping system (QuickBooks or diocese approved programs) including accounts payable, receivable, cash receipts, and 1099 reporting.
• Attends regular Diocesan Bookkeeper/Administrator meetings to ensure that the parish is in step with Diocesan policies and procedures.
• Prepares for quarterly Parish Finance Council meetings. Attends these meetings and ensures minutes are taken for these meetings.
• Supervises and supports counting teams and counting processes. Ensures adherence to the Diocesan Collection Guidelines. Utilizes ParishSOFT or other systems to administer parish Sunday collections in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Balances and reconciles parish accounts and bank statements in a timely manner on a monthly basis, providing monthly financial reports to the Pastor.
• Ensures that midyear and year-end financial reporting requirements of the Diocese are met in a timely manner.
• Takes primary responsibility for formulation of the parish budget, working closely with the Pastor for accuracy in estimating costs and submitting a responsible budget.
• Supervises and balances petty cash funds.
• Verifies employee app-based timecard, monitors employee sick and vacation days including charges and credits, and submits payroll using Paylocity or other Diocesan Programs.
• Responsible for State and City tax reports.
• Maintains all accounting support documents including W-9s.
• Responsible for timely reporting of W-2Gs and 1099s.
• Reaches out for support to the Diocese when needed.

Other
• Participate as a member of the parish pastoral team. This is accomplished by collaborating in cooperative ventures with other parish ministries, organizations, and individuals by participating in meetings and retreats, and by assisting in the planning and participation in parish social events to promote Time & Talent objectives and activities.
• Maintains current level of knowledge and skills required for this ministry. This position serves on Faith Formation and Evangelization Team as time allows, and works with the Pastor, DRE, Director of Music and Liturgy Committee to involve youth in parish liturgies.

Qualifications:
• Experience working with teens
• Virtus Training (will be provided if needed)
• Age 21+ and college degree preferred

The DMM is responsible for developing liturgical music for... all Masses, Holy Days, special liturgical celebrations, weddings and funerals. The DMM provides training to parish musicians and scheduling and hiring of other musicians as needed. The DMM recruits cantors, substitute accompanists, choir members and supervises the music library with the assistance of volunteers.

The position requires musical proficiency in organ, piano, and voice as well as a thorough knowledge of Church liturgical guidelines and norms. The DMM must flow easily between contemporary, praise and worship, traditional, and age appropriate music for children.

A Masters in Music is preferred with 3+ years of experience in a church position. All candidates should have a comprehensive knowledge of the teachings and practices of the Catholic Faith, demonstrate a passion for and love of liturgical music, possess strong written and oral communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The ability to communicate in Spanish and English is preferred.

Requirements

The candidate will possess:
