Background We are currently seeking a qualified DevOps... Engineer to help enhance our CI/CD pipeline, containerize and migrate our on-prem applications into AWS /hybrid cloud and manage orchestration through Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement scripts and automation tools to build security, reliability, and scalability into the CI/CD pipeline
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues
• Containerize existing .NET and React applications
• Create and maintain Helm templates
• Cluster orchestration through Kubernetes
• Monitor and respond to cluster/instance health and security alerts/tools
• Work with QA automation engineers, developers and the security team to integrate testing tools into the pipeline
Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years of DevOps experience
• 1+ year of AWS /Cloud experience
• 1+ year of container orchestration experience (ideally Kubernetes
• Advanced use of HELM , YAML , Bash and/or PowerShell scripting
• Understanding of hybrid cloud environments
• Experience with C#, .NET , and JavaScript is a bonus
Successful candidates should have experience in the following:
• Implementing and supporting DevOps pipelines with a CI/CD tool focus on GitLab, Jenkins and Octopus Deploy
• Containerizing applications using Docker, preferably those comprised of a React front-end and .NET back-end
• Using Kubernetes (HELM ) for container orchestration
• Experience with AWS including EC2, ECR , Load balancing, S3, VPC , etc.
• Using Git (GitLab) for code/repository management
• Parameterizing and automating environment configuration settings
• Experience working with a security team to ‘shift left’ and follow DevSecOps practices
• Experience with systems administration in Linux and Windows environments

Job Title Associate Instructor Working Title Associate Instructor Location Campus Job Summary The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Utah invites applications for a one-year Associate Instructor position in Classics to teach six classes, three each semester, in the 2023– 2024 academic year. The Associate Instructor role is equivalent to what is called an ‘adjunct’ role at many institutions. We will begin reviewing applications on Monday, 3 April. The Classics program in the Department teaches Latin, ancient Greek, and some Classics classes with readings in English, to majors and minors in the field, to other classical language learners, and to an extremely wide and valued general student audience.

Responsibilities The successful applicant (a) will be able to teach at least one of and preferably both Latin and ancient Greek excellently, at any level up to at least the advanced undergraduate, and (b) will be ready to contribute excellent Classics classes with readings in English (‘Classical Civilization’ classes in our catalog). Examples of the latter include introductory lecture courses on aspects of ancient Greek or Roman culture, including more specialized courses such as Ancient Greece and Rome in the Cinema, Greek Drama, or Images of Women in Ancient Greece and Rome. We can create new Classics class topics to make best use of the successful candidate’s expertise and enthusiasms.
Minimum Qualifications We expect that the successful applicant will have at least an MA in Classics, or ABD status in a Classics PhD program, or some exact equivalent to these. We prefer a candidate who will have a PhD in Classics or a cognate field in hand by Fall 2023.

JOB SUMMARY :
UtahPresents seeks a strategic, driven, and enthusiastic Development Officer to grow and sustain its community of donors. The Development Officer is responsible for planning and implementing a fundraising program that creates multiple ways for individuals, corporations, and other institutions to support the mission driven work of UtahPresents. As a member of UtahPresents’ leadership team, the Development Officer collaborates closely with the Executive Director and contributes to the overall advancement of the organization.

The Development Officer primarily works from UtahPresents’ offices at Kingsbury Hall, as they are an active participate in programming and daily operations. Flexibility exists to work remotely at times, as agreed to by the Executive Director. The hours vary and will include some evenings and weekends. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
1) Maintain and grow UtahPresents’ donor base with a focus on gifts of $1,000 and above
• Steward relationships with approximately 50 existing major donors (defined as giving at least $1,000/year); build and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects
• Arrange and attend meetings and other in-person engagements with donors (5-8 per month on average), which result in significant progress towards major gifts or the qualification of new prospects
• Research and develop plans and strategies for major gifts, including planned giving
• Draft proposals, gift agreements, and make direct asks of donors

4) Support annual budgeting process by helping to determine and manage contributed revenue and fundraising expenses

• Monitor gift accounts, including endowed and expendable funds, to ensure they are being managed in accordance with the donor’s gift agreement
5) Contribute to continued success of the Advisory Board
• Serve as the Fundraising Committee’s primary partner on staff, working with them to create new ways for Advisory Board members to advance fundraising efforts
• Schedule at least four Fundraising Committee meetings annually, set the agenda with the Committee Chair, prepare meeting materials, attend and take minutes, and manage follow up
• Ensure the Advisory Board meets their annual fundraising goal
• Help identify and recruit new Board members
• Provide additional administrative support to the Advisory Board as requested by the Executive Director

The Director of Advancement (DOA ) directs all development activities and events involved with the solicitation of donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations in support of clinical, education, and research priorities with a focus on the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Craig H. Neilson Rehabilitation Hospital, working with and as directed by the Senior Director of Development for Internal Medicine. This important and highly visible position will direct and coordinate efforts to solicit and secure gifts of various amounts including gifts of significant value and/or developing, planning, and coordinating the Major Gift and Annual Giving Programs in the Department.
The DOA will build a robust community of philanthropic support by engaging and involving physician and researcher leadership, faculty, administrators, and their care teams. In collaboration with their supervisor, the DOA will articulate and execute an advancement plan focused on best practices, including goals and metrics, and well-articulated departmental philanthropic priorities, leading to the procurement of private support for the clinical, research, and educational areas.
The DOA will also develop and implement programs related to public relations, communication, and training alumni engagement. Communications duties include working with Department marketing staff. Alumni engagement responsibilities include discovery, qualification, cultivating and stewarding alumni, supporting annual giving efforts, and coordinating events for alumni and institutional advancement.
The DOA also participates in preparing budgets and in setting goals. May supervise staff.
