Position Summary:

This incumbent reports to the Assistant Manager of Records Management and works closely with the Associate Director of Records and colleagues in the unit. The employee is primarily responsible for data entry and maintenance of all University of Georgia donor and alumni information. This includes the processing of biographical updates of donor and alumni data received from fundraisers, alumni, and other campus databases. Data entry varies in complexity in relation to projects that range from daily to annual time frames. Duties/Responsibilities:

Process biographical updates received from various sources (e-mail, phone, automatic downloads, campus requests, online sources, print media, social networking sites) regarding alumni, students, and donor/friends to maintain the University’s central database of over 900,000 entities.
• Process emails assigned via the departmental email account; Through critical thinking, interpret requests from campus users and other constituents based on well-developed critical thinking skills; Respond in timely manner to all requests either verbally or in written format upholding departmental and University standards for confidentiality.

Position Summary:

The Building Services Worker Lead is a key position within Facilities Management Division’s Building Services unit. Reporting directly to a Manager, this incumbent will be responsible for day to day management of custodial operations within an assigned building or collection of buildings. The Building Services Worker Lead directly supervises crews approximately 6 to 10 employees who are responsible for care, cleaning, and minor maintenance of campus buildings and fixtures.

Responsible for communicating information and training material related to productivity, safety, and work performance. Provides guidance to Building Service Workers; verbally, written, and electronically, regarding personnel concerns, team performance, employee development, employee performance, overall work results, stakeholder experience and satisfaction.

Position Summary:

I. Student Career Development:
• Provide professional and career advising to students in one-on-one and group environments.

The Director of Facilities Planning and Real Property is responsible for managing all liaison activities between the College – its personnel, strategic capital planning, initiation, and budgeting of design & construction projects, real estate transactions, and space management – and the UGA Office of University Architects and UGA Facilities Management Division. Duties/Responsibilities:

Coordinate facilities and real estate issues at outlying campuses, extension facilities, and research farms. These locations include the Griffin Campus, Tifton Campus, 4-H facilities at Rock Eagle 4-H Center (Eatonton), Fortson 4-H Center (Hampton), Burton 4-H Center (Tybee), and Wahsega 4-H Center (Dahlonega), Coastal Georgia Botanical Garden (Savannah), research farms in Blairsville, Calhoun/Rome, Watkinsville, Greensboro, Midville, Reidsville, Plains, Camilla, & Attapulgus. Serve as CAES representative with Architects, Engineers and consultants hired by UGA for larger college projects where full design documents are required. Clearly communicate CAES interests and needs to Architects and Engineers for them to be able to successfully perform their tasks, including but not necessarily limited to programmatic requirements, as-built information, utility information, sequence of operations, and test & balance reports. Familiarity with UGA design and construction standards and ability to determine specific UGA requirements is critical in order to maintain consistency on campuses. Review partial design documents and offer up suggestions for improvements. Coordinate the testing of suspect hazardous materials on campus for asbestos and lead paint content and maintain a file for tested items. Coordinate any possible requirement for archeological assessment and or historical preservation review through the Athens OUA office. Complete GEPA assessment forms for projects with any ground-disturbing activities.

Participate in the management of design & construction projects on the Athens Campus and outlying properties. This includes preparation and signoff of FPIFs (Facilities Project Initiation Forms) and determination of funding sources in conjunction with the College Business Office or remote business offices.

Position Summary:

The Georgia Advanced Computing Resource Center (GACRC), a division of the Enterprise Information Technology Services at the University of Georgia, is seeking a talented individual to join the GACRC as a Scientific Computing Professional with the rank of Associate.
