• Oversee and guide research compliance operations and programs, which include activities involving: human subjects (IRB), live vertebrate animals (IAUCUC), class 3b and class 4 lasers, human, animal, and plant pathogens and biologically derived toxins, recombinant and synthetic nucleic acid molecules, radioactive materials and x-ray devices, Controlled Unclassified Information, Conflict of Interest, and other regulatory compliance areas that may emerge over time. • Serve as the Research Conflict of Interest manager. (5%)
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory matters of research compliance, and reports directly to the Director of Research and Sponsored Programs.
