The E-Commerce manager will understand the commercial aspects of business and be an integral member of the Retail Sales team, helping develop and implement the company's go to market strategy.

They will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing sales and marketing plans with key accounts to achieve sales targets and category leadership.

Responsibilities will include channel strategy development, account planning, annual budgeting, promotional planning, forecasting and relationship building with key customers.

Roles and Responsibilities :
• Lead the development of the Domestic E-Commerce strategy and sales plans with key customers in accordance with corporate goals.
• Manage the Domestic eCommerce channel, both B2B wholesale and B2C marketplace for the Pet Division and oversee all digital activities within the E-Commerce channel.
• Manage and build relationship with E-Commerce accounts to deliver annual sales and profit targets in Domestic markets and establishes short and long-term sales goals for all e-commerce products.
• Provide P&L oversight for key accounts to maximize profitability by growing top line sales and managing selling expenses.
• Develop annual sales and marketing plans with Marketing Director and create and execute annual promotional plans for pet products with customers.
• Collaborate cross functionally with brand marketing to help define go to market strategies from product concept to product launch through analysis and research to meet customer needs.
• Understand the competitive landscape and develop strategies that position brands as category leaders.
• Develop annual eCommerce budget, recommend and manage pricing, trade budgets and spending effectiveness.
• In collaboration with Demand Planning, create annual forecast and provide monthly updates and inputs to allow for on-time delivery.
• Advise marketing on market demand and insights, promotional opportunities to inform future campaign ideas, incentives and bonus offers.
• Communicate with other departments within the organization to foster teamwork and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements :
• 5+ years of eCommerce sales and account management experience domestically or internationally
• Commercial awareness, marketing and sales background
• In depth understanding of developing executing sales and marketing strategy, plans and campaigns
• Strong commercial and analytical skills - experience analyzing data and actively communicating business unit KPI's to the executive team and other business units
• Working knowledge of e-commerce contracts and understanding Terms and Conditions by which everyday business is conducted.
• Pet category experience a plus
• Domestic travel 10%-20%
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of web promotion strategies : Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), paid search, display advertising, pay-per-click campaigns.

Position Summary

The Specialist, DTC eCommerce is responsible for driving all aspects of the DTC channel. This role is responsible for website performance and merchandising with a focus on revenue growth, driving new customer acquisition and retention, and improving the customer experience. This highly collaborative leader will prioritize the consumer by leveraging technical expertise of the eCommerce technology stack, combined with the business knowledge, to implement cohesive consumer experiences. This role requires a deep, technical expertise in eCommerce, web technologies, marketing technologies, and systems which it interfaces. The architect is responsible for leading the technical architecture of sustainable and scalable in support of e-commerce. The architect can communicate and translate business objectives and needs into technological solutions to be implemented by our technology teams.

Primary duties
- Partner and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders. (i.e. global product owners, commercial leaders, consumer, marketing leaders, brand, marketing leaders, senior leadership team) to drive and manage the technology planning solution in an implementation for large complex strategic and multi-system, Projects.
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand the business objectives and architect technology solutions within the e-commerce ecosystem to bring them to life.
- Provide technical leadership, and ensure uniform enterprise-wide technology standards are defined and I had two [i.e. user experience, performance, scalability, compatibility]. Collaborate closely with front and development, back and development and fellow architecture teams. Work collaboratively with engineering teams, both internal and external partners, to align to agriculture and in integration standards.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and solution architect. Kali technical teams through the discovery, design, development, and deployment of complex trans sectional enterprise systems. Identify potential issues within the ecosystem is capabilities, propose new solutions to walk around these limitations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding and proficiency of new and existing technologies within the e-commerce platform to deliver a clear point of view on how Cole solution should be designed and leverage within the environment. Partner with external vendor partners to understand and evaluate nucha pit, cabin capabilities to be leveraged to enhance the consumer experience and drive, a CCRETIVE, e-commerce revenue growth.
Knowledge, skills and capabilities required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer, science, engineering, mathematics, physics, related study, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of combined development, an architect experience.
- 5+ years of development of enterprise, e-commerce platforms, preferably, salesforce, commerce cloud, (formally Demandre) or other platforms (i.e. hybrid, magenta, IBM, WebSphere, ass, Oracle, cloud).
- Deep technical experience with B2C eCommerce platforms, websites, and applications. Experience in global multi branded be to see environment is 8+.
- Experience in multiple web technologies, including, node, JS, and service side, JavaScript, CommonJS, ISML, Apex, JSON, MVC Patterns, AJAX, jQuery, React, XML, HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS, web services, API’s, SQL, open-source package/libraries and CDN’s
- Experience integrating with 3rd party platforms. (i.e., Salesforce, google, tag, manager, marketing cloud, Facebook, PayPal, MuleSoft) and APIs.
- Thorough, understanding, and experience with responsive design, browser behavior, and compatibility, and across browser optimization/troubleshooting.
- Understanding of network architecture, application, development, technologies, and micro services in the cloud. Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS and Heroku a plus.
- Experience, developing and implementing API layers and Web services.
- Experience with CDNs, data caches and stores.
- Strong knowledge and functional understanding of generally recognize an accepted web.
