About The Role

We are seeking an International Partnerships Manager to join our team and lead our global engagement efforts. About the Role
The Engagement and Planning Coordinator will work alongside the Manager, Engagement to deliver operational plans for engagement and partnerships with industry, government and community for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT).

The role will also work with the Strategic Initiatives Manager and Head of Strategy, Planning & Resources to assist in the administration of faculty business planning, governance activities, and provide project support.

Reporting to the Manager, Engagement, the role will collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of initiatives that grow our engagement, reputation, and impact.

The position will be primarily responsible for the administrative coordination of assigned initiatives and will provide significant support towards achieving positive outcomes by performing a range of activities that support planning, communication, implementation and evaluation.

The Engagement and Planning Coordinator will deliver events, contribute to project activity, prepare communication and presentation materials, provide secretariat support to faculty level committees and working groups, and assist with preparing reports.

Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating project administration and preparing project documentation, including project plans, schedule, implementation plans, work plans and timeframes, communications, evaluation, and identification of key responsibilities and milestones – in collaboration with the Manager, Engagement.
• Providing secretariat support for Faculty committees and engagement projects as required, including scheduling meetings, timely preparation of agendas and minutes, collating and distributing papers, and coordinating action items.
• With the guidance of the Manager, Engagement, implementing a range of initiatives to support stakeholder engagement, ensuring all aspects of engagement activities are proactively planned and achieved.
• Providing administrative support to the Head of Strategy, Planning & Resources and the Strategic Initiatives Manager for activities such as business planning, governance planning and record management, communication, and gift administration.

About You
To be successful in this role you will bring excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability in drafting reports, creating communications and developing presentation materials with a high degree of accuracy. You will demonstrate skills in negotiation and influencing with an ability to engage stakeholders for project outcomes. You will have excellent time management and organisational skills; including demonstrated experience in prioritising and effectively balancing competing demands.

You will also have:
• Completion of an undergraduate tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Strong demonstrated committee secretariat skills.
• Analysis, including the ability to manipulate, interpret, and present quantitative data, synthesise information and develop insights.
• Technical Skills, and capacity to learn and use in-house administrative database systems, including experience with web content management systems.
• Collaboration, including the ability to work co-operatively and positively in a multidisciplinary based environment and liaise with people from diverse backgrounds.

About The Role

The Senior Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating the effective development and implementation of external accreditation activities and business intelligence reporting within the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE). This encompasses: the management of Faculty-level international business accreditation and ranking processes (in conjunction with Melbourne Business School Ltd), including reporting, data collection and analysis; benchmarking with national and international schools; and supporting coordination of department and discipline accreditation and quality functions.

To support the Faculty’s pursuit and maintenance of accreditation (specifically associated with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS)), this position is responsible for providing high-level support and specialist advice to the senior leadership of the Faculty. The position coordinates collection, management, analysis, and reporting of all relevant accreditation information; provides support for accreditation assurance activities; and assists in the implementation of accreditation processes in the Faculty, including working with academic departments and the Faculty’s Williams Centre for Learning Advancement on monitoring assurance of outcomes.

You will play a lead role in improving Faculty performance in reporting capabilities and ensuring best practice reporting methods are developed and adopted. The position works closely with the Faculty’s Senior Manager, Accreditation, senior leadership team, key stakeholders from departments and professional services units, the Williams Centre, Melbourne Business School, and staff from across the University.

Responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining expertise in accreditation-related matters specifically associated with AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, together with other external bodies, such as the United Nations Principle for Responsible Management Education (PRME), as required.
• Managing and writing formal accreditation documentation and requirements; undertake benchmarking, and draft and finalize reports in a variety of formats.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including: Faculty senior leadership, Melbourne Business School leadership, and FBE and MBSL academic and professional staff; the University community and alumni; stakeholders in international and industry accreditation bodies; accreditation staff in higher education; and other key stakeholders within the Faculty and University.
• Contributing to the Accreditation Unit to provide management and executive reporting across the Faculty. 

About You

To be successful in this role you will have excellent organisational skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, whilst working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  You will be confident in your ability to manage and implement change in a challenging environment. You will have high-level problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise significant judgment and initiative as well as being able to build working relationships and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 

You will also have:
• Postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards postgraduate qualifications) in a business/ management related discipline with extensive relevant experience in a quality assurance/ accreditation/ business intelligence role; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or education/ training.
• Proven experience managing and implementing strategic projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare complex reports which include extensive data analysis to support the report’s contentions.
• Demonstrated data management, Excel and statistical analysis skills. Experience in accreditation project activities and processes.
