Opportunity Summary:

The role of Customer Support Analyst is a good fit for any person that is passionate about technology and is willing to go above and beyond to improve customer satisfaction. Requirements:

• Understanding of Project Management processes and best practices 
• Knowledge of Help Desk applications, ITSM applications.
• Understanding of knowledge centric applications
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team.
• Ability to listen, understand and handle customer inquiries, problems or complaints in a timely manner. 
• Excellent communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include selling our core search and automation products to IT, KM, Professional Services and Operational Leaders in enterprises across nearly all industries. Our portfolio of products and managed services include Enterprise Search, Proposal Automation and potentially other content automation products. Responsibilities for this role:
• Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and territory-planning
• Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of our service offerings
• Drive the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition
• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale
• Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers
• Deep understanding of the complex world of enterprise sales with the ability to communicate the Upland business value to prospects
• Work hand-in-hand with our marketing and service leads to drive lead generation and execution strategies that deliver results
• As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be selling to our top accounts and working with Fortune 1000 caliber clients
• You will execute on the account plan to deliver maximum revenue
• Manage complete and complex sales-cycles, often presenting to VP & C-level executives, the value of our full suite of applications
• Forecast sales activity and opportunity management in salesforce.com, while creating satisfied customers
• Evangelize the Upland vision through product demonstrations, in-market events, and account specific initiatives

Requirements:
• Must be located in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, or Arkansas
• 5+ years of quota-carrying software or technology sales or account management experience
• Experience managing the sales cycle with and to the business champion up to the C-suite
• Track record of success in enterprise solution sales for solution offerings with demonstrable proof of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
• Demonstrate an understanding of repeatable selling techniques
• Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles demonstrating ownership of all aspects of territory management across a wide variety of verticals including Technology, Financial Services, Banking, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Insurance and Services
• Polished executive presence and interpersonal communication skills
• IT and KM literate – ability to competently understand and convey the value of our solutions along with the value they deliver
• Travel required up to 30%

Desired Skills:
• Consistently strong personal earnings in past Account Executive roles while carrying approximately $1M in quota
• Previous Sales Methodology training, CRM experience, and strong customer references
• Previous experience selling IT and KM solutions as well as Shared Services Business, Project, and Work Management SaaS software and solutions
• Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com, M/S Office, and other industry leading sales enablement technologies
• College or University Degree preferred

Opportunity Summary:

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to build Upland Audience Engagement’s technology eco-system. This pivotal role within the Product Directorate at Upland will be given the opportunity to bring their breadth of experience in the martech eco-system space to own our product integration strategy across the Audience Engagement portfolio of solutions.

• The position will work with a globally distributed team with contributors and stakeholders across several time zones.
