Overview

The Paraprofessional Programs Program Coordinator III oversees the procedural matters related to three statewide training programs. The coordinator plans and coordinates the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the Certified Peer Support, Family Peer Support, and Community Health Workers certification trainings. The Paraprofessional Program Coordinator will support curriculum updates, new grant writing for programmatic funding, program promotion, and program oversight and evaluation.

Reporting and Supervisory Responsibilities

The Paraprofessional Programs Program Coordinator III may report the Salt Lake County health extension faculty member. The program coordinator supervises, trains, and direct the full-time benefited employees, hourly employees, graduate students, and/or volunteers assigned to support paraprofessional training programs.

Responsibilities
• Designs and coordinates the day-to-day aspects of the training programs and monitors the progress and status of program outcomes.
• Serves as the principal liaison between students, faculty, staff, other departments, and/or external constituencies on day-to-day project, operational, and/or administrative issues.
• Facilitates seminars, meetings, and special projects.
• Monitors and administers program revenues and expenses; may develop or participate in the development of funding proposals for the program.
• Writes, edits, and coordinates development of course offerings, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program.
• Ensures completion of clerical and administrative support tasks, including creation, typing, and editing of program correspondence, purchasing documents, reports, program handbooks, and other publications.
• Writes and/or assists with writing grants and proposals as appropriate to the objectives and funding nature of the programs; may participate in other fundraising activities.
• May maintain and create content for programs website.
• Provides updates and information to program stakeholders.
• Collects and analyzes data; prepares scheduled and special reports; maintains program records and statistical information to meet state and federal requirements.
• May maintain and create content for program website.
• May present on topics related to programs in person or via webinar.
• Analyzes problems and applies corrective action as needed.
• Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications

Overview

Under general direction and guidance, the Certified Flight Instructor provides leadership and direction for flight students in Price, Utah. Overview

The Managing Editor oversees the print and digital editorial
calendar and content creation for Utah State Magazine, with a

The Managing Editor leads the magazine editorial team and works

Serve as a member of the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation faculty including:

+ Carry out an active line of research and publication,

+ Supervising undergraduate and graduate student field experiences,

Minimum Qualifications:

All Ranks

+ Doctorate in special education, behavior analysis, or related field (e.g., psychology). ABD candidates will be considered.

+ BCBA-D certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (or eligibility for certification by the end of the first semester of employment).

+ Expertise in applications of behavior analysis in school settings.

+ Direct service experience with individuals with disabilities.

+ A history of positive working relationships with teachers, clinicians, administrators, and faculty.

The Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Counseling is recognized nationally for both personnel preparation and research. The Department offers special education degree programs at the bachelors, masters, and doctoral levels. The bachelor's program prepares graduates to teach students with mild/moderate disabilities, severe disabilities, and/or young children with disabilities. The department offers three master's programs: a Master of Science, that includes a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) verified course sequence, a Master of Education in Special Education, and a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling.

The department also sponsors a unique interdisciplinary doctoral (Ph.D.) program in Disability Disciplines which includes specializations in (1) special education, (2) applied behavior analysis, (3) rehabilitation counseling, (4) speech and language pathology, (5) audiology, (6) pathokinesiology, and (7) disability studies.
