The position warrants a knowledge of smart turf practices as you will take the lead role in care of all Athletic and intermural fields, and turf areas. The position requires knowledge of best pesticide management practices, and the ability to safely apply pesticides and herbicides. The position also requires the knowledge of and participation in all landscape construction projects. It involves having the knowledge of, and ability to operate a wide variety of small and large equipment in grounds tasks, and snow and ice removal. You need the knowledge and skills for safe operating of different types and sizes of chainsaws when needed. The job requires the ability to participate in grounds mechanics and maintenance of all equipment assigned to the department. The position requires knowledge and training in smart turf and landscape practices.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
• Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees
• Perform year-round grounds maintenance and improvement activities as assigned or in assigned zone of responsibility
• Lead in landscape construction projects assigned to this department
• Lead in the final grading and seedbed preparation for lawns and other turf areas
• Operate all mechanical equipment assigned to this department including trucks, backhoes, loaders, trenchers, chippers, chainsaws, and related equipment
• Assist mechanics in maintain all equipment assigned to this department
• Develops and schedules unit operational work plans
• Schedules logistics and secures resources for the completion of established projects
• Communicates unit goals and objectives, implements unit operational policies and procedures, and provides training and feedback to ensure safety and compliance
• Prepares periodic reports and financial statements, and records progress, status, or other special reports for leadership or external agencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma at time of application
• 2 years of related experience
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid driver's license upon appointment
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a commercial pesticide applicator license (Category 3.0 Turf and Landscape) upon appointment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate's Degree
• Experience in a higher education environment
• Knowledge of safe and proper operation and maintenance of lawn care equipment
• Safe and effective application of fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides and insecticides

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Physical strength and stamina to perform required work, including being able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, lift up to 80 pounds, and work on your feet for a long period of time

Career Advisors are responsible for building strong, intentional relationships and advising students in a variety of career development areas including self-discovery and reflection, understanding the world of work, experiential learning, advanced education, and job and internship searching.
Career Advisors are responsible for designing engaging and meaningful workshops and programs, coordinating networking opportunities, introducing and connecting students to work-based learning experiences, and developing intentional relationships with employers, faculty, and staff members. Under this new model, Career Advisors will lead and support the efforts of the Career Services Office directly in one of the four Colleges at UW-Green Bay to provide services tailored to specific majors. This position reports to the Director of Career Services and the Dean of the College for which they support. Career Advisors will strive to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
• Educates or advises students and recent alumni individually or in groups through various mediums about career exploration, self-assessment, skills, materials development, and career decisions.
• Develops and delivers career development programming and resource materials across various mediums to provide education to students.
• Responds to questions and provides information regarding student services, policies, procedures, and employment preparation.
• May identify and maintain a professional network of employers or other stakeholders to facilitate career exploration and employment opportunities for students.
• Participates in the campus-wide career services community, providing input to leadership regarding the development of advising, recruitment, and co/curricular programs offered by the school/college/unit.
• Builds intentional relationships with students, faculty members, and employers to introduce and connect students to work-based learning experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree at time of application

UW-Green Bay is embarking on a new model for Career Services focused on providing intrusive, supportive career advising to students within our four Colleges that will lead to more intentional connections and success. Career Advisors are responsible for building strong, intentional relationships and advising students in a variety of career development areas including self-discovery and reflection, understanding the world of work, experiential learning, advanced education, and job and internship searching.
Career Advisors are responsible for designing engaging and meaningful workshops and programs, coordinating networking opportunities, introducing and connecting students to work-based learning experiences, and developing intentional relationships with employers, faculty, and staff members. Under this new model, Career Advisors will lead and support the efforts of the Career Services Office directly in one of the four Colleges at UW-Green Bay to provide services tailored to specific majors. • Educates or advises students and recent alumni individually or in groups through various mediums about career exploration, self-assessment, skills, materials development, and career decisions.

• Working knowledge of desktop hardware and standard business software programs (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, database) and the Internet

What You'll Do
This position includes the following responsibilities:
• Initiates, develops, and implements operational services that support a defined project, program, work unit, or function to advance program goals and objectives.
• Develops priorities and implementation strategies for creating custodial and maintenance standards, schedules, and labor requirements for routine and emergency repairs, housekeeping, preventative maintenance programs, grounds work, warehouse functions, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
• Schedules logistics and secures resources for program activities across multiple work units to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Directs the planning and scheduling of building maintenance and remodeling activities, incorporating operational requirements and priorities.
• Serve as the unit liaison to external stakeholder groups providing organizational information to ensure timely and safe transitioning or major construction or remodeling projects.
• Develops and fosters a working relationship with university and state professional architects and engineers, project managers, building construction superintendents, outside contractors, other State agencies, and the public while representing staff and residents.
• Provides direct supervision and operational and strategic guidance to staff, including the Financial Specialist and members of the Operations and Central Receiving departments.
• Assign job tasks and provide guidance, direction, leadership, and evaluation of their skills and understanding of the systems used for business operations.
• This includes exercising supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees.
• Determines and directs standards for routine and preventative work orders, warehouse/purchasing tracking, building and grounds projects, and use of automated maintenance.
• Reviews work place health and safety expectations with employees and provide instruction.
• Assists in the development and monitoring of the unit or program budget and approve unit expenditures.
• Leads the development and preparation of periodic reports and financial statements, and records progress, status, or other special reports for leadership or external agencies Utilize Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as much as possible in the department's business operations.
• Serve as secondary internal customer service contact for Facilities Management office.
• Answer inquiries from students, faculty, and staff. Refer issues to others as appropriate.
• Assists with development, execution, and utilization of strategic planning analysis to determine long term institutional needs and develop sustainable solutions.
• Assist in maintaining department files, including purchasing records, state project records {drawings, specifications, submittals, O&Ms, etc.), reference documents, work order and inspection reports, etc.
• In coordination with the Financial Specialist, provide department support for the TMA maintenance management system and other facilities specific software applications. Work with campus IT staff.
• As a TMA Administrator, set-up and update TMA user defined software criteria for efficient department usage.
• Work with supervisors and administrative staff to develop appropriate methods for recording, entering, and tracking the information. Optimize utilization of software capabilities relative to operational needs.
• Update pricing and baseline data in TMA, utilize bar-code scanners for work orders and inventory. Download inventory check-in, stocking and re-stocking data from bar code scanners into database.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate's degree at time of application
• 5 years of related experience
• Computer proficiency with the ability to use specialized software packages, spreadsheet and word processing (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, TMA)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Experience in a higher education environment
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping concepts (GAAP), including math skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for office procedures, including electronic filing. Knowledge of university policies and procedures
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

The Resch School of Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for two Assistant Teaching Professor positions in Mathematics and Statistics.
The successful applicants will contribute to an academic unit that supports innovative instructional activities within the College of Science, Engineering and Technology / Resch School of Engineering / Mathematics and Statistics.

• Takes fund-raising ideas/proposals and crafts fact-based and inspiring case statements and gift proposals for use in communicating to a variety of audiences, including donor-prospects.
• Conducts deep research on assigned donors in accordance with the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.
• Works collaboratively with the Annual Giving Officer on the direct mail program.
