This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track graduate faculty position (75% teaching) at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance. Responsibilities
• Direct and teach the equivalent of 12 credits in the Clinical Exercise Physiology (CEP) Master’s degree program.
• Advise graduate students.
• Engage in research or other scholarly activity.
• Provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Qualifications Required:
• Doctoral degree in Clinical Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated potential for research and scholarly activity in clinical exercise physiology.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical cardiac rehabilitation program.
• Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor graduate students.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Qualifications Required:
• Doctoral degree in Clinical Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated potential for research and scholarly activity in clinical exercise physiology.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical cardiac rehabilitation program.
• Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor graduate students.
• Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to diverse student populations and ability to contribute to the University’s commitment to enhancing student awareness and appreciation of diverse ethnic and cultural heritages.
Qualifications Preferred:
• ACSM or AACVPR clinical exercise physiology certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience at the college level.
