Position Summary

Typical Working Schedule

Hours of work are rotating shifts including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift times are 6:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. (40hrs). Shift schedule allows for a four-day weekend each month.

Position Summary

Monitors, operates, adjusts, maintains, and repairs a variety of technical equipment for the campus Heating plant to supply the campus with critical services. Position does not include cooling job duties.

Responsibilities
• Ensures safe and efficient operation of the plant and its associated equipment
• Makes regular inspections of plant equipment and prepares equipment malfunction reports
• Cleans and maintains work areas and equipment
• Starts, stops, and adjusts equipment settings to maintain operational requirements
• Maintains forms, logs, or reports
• Analyzes data and communicates recommendations on equipment and systems operations, both verbally and in written reports
• Adheres to safety protocols and procedures
• Complies with environmental protection protocols and procedures
• May work without direct supervision on shift operations
• Assists with preventative and corrective maintenance as needed
• Assists in the training and oversight of new employees in these and other safe and efficient plant operational procedures

Position Summary

This is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position (100% teaching, research, & service) at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong interest and ability to teach courses in Economics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop curriculum and participate in assessment, maintain an active research agenda in Economics, advise upper-level majors, and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession. Responsibilities
• Teach courses in economics, statistics and/or business analytics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Engage in high-impact educational practices such as faculty-student collaborative research. (55%)
