JOB DETAILS:

Position Summary: The Market Research Coordinator position leads research design, conducts secondary and primary research and analysis, and prepares reports to influence school, college, or institutional strategy. This position supports the day-to-day needs of the university insights unit.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing analytical frameworks and managing data analysis projects. The position will produce reports that align with the university’s strategic goals using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, along with environmental scanning and competitor analyses.

This position will be part of a team responsible for some enterprise-level initiatives that include participation in Growth Initiative and AVP team meetings, delivery of services aligned with the New Program Development Cycle, and contribution to period reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline – mathematics, business, analytics, data analytics, finance, statistics, market research, or a related field. Relevant experience in other areas (strategy, research, business development, consulting) may fulfill this requirement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, data analysis and tools (e.g., Burning Glass, SAS, SPSS, R, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, other statistical or BI Tools).
• Ability to function with limited guidance and be comfortable working on projects independently in an environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to explain the significance of data and trends and respond to questions with clarity and accuracy. Exemplary writing skills, including the ability to produce research reports that summarize findings for executive audiences.
• Ability to establish and manage collaborative relationships with team members, subject matter experts, and senior leaders with the highest degree of professionalism.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for innovation and a readiness to supports institutional change.

JOB DETAILS:

Position Summary: This position provides computer user-support at multiple UWSP campuses. Their primary work location is the Wausau campus and will spend ~60% of their time providing user, hardware, and software support. They will spend ~30% of their time at the Stevens Point campus, working directly with our EndUser Services group installing and supporting hardware and printers. Occasionally, ~10% of the time, they will be asked to work at other UWSP locations. This position requires occasional flexible hours that may include limited evenings, weekends and/or on-call hours. Travel between UWSP campuses is required.

Shift : 7:45am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. 60% Wausau, 40% Stevens Point and other UWSP sites as needed; Varied hours as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications, in the Micorsoft Windows environment.
• Experience documenting IT related procedures, processes, and systems.
• Present a service-oriented attitude while working with clients.
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM/business field or Associates Degree in CS/CIS/computer related field plus 1-4 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications, on MacOS, Linux, Android and/or iOS.
• Experience with maintaining printer devices, configuring print servers, and using printing accounting software.
• Experience with automating processes with PowerShell.
• Experience with networking services including configuring switches and network servers.

Position Summary: Teaching duties will consist of four courses per semester. This will usually include three sections of a lower-division introductory history course and an advanced course in Public History, or two sections of a lower-division introductory history course, a lower-division course in public history, and one upper-division course in public history. This position manages and supports the department minor in Museum Studies. Average enrollment for each lower-division section is 40 and enrollment in advanced courses averages 25.

History faculty members maintain an active research agenda and further serve the program through student advising, department committees, and participation in shared governance and professional outreach programs. Strong teaching performance, continued scholarly achievements, and university service are necessary for retention, tenure, and promotion.

Position Summary: The School of Education at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point seeks an energetic, organized individual to teach undergraduate and graduate level literacy courses. This position will pursue an active research agenda, maintain a full teaching load, and work collaboratively within the department, across the university and the broader community to promote the School of Education.

Position Summary: The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Department of Art & Art History invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Art History at the assistant professor level beginning in August 2023. The area seeks candidates prepared to teach our global art history surveys, general education courses in Western art history, as well as a range of upper level courses on visual and material culture relevant to the candidate’s interests. The candidate must demonstrate an ability to teach courses for general education with a strong historical and global focus, as well as art history courses designed for studio majors in a School of Design & Communication (Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture) and minors in Art History and International Studies. The ability to teach modern art in a broad transcultural, transregional context is preferred. We especially encourage applicants whose research focuses on underrepresented areas in the discipline to apply.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching, the primary focus of this position. On-going scholarly activity is also required, commensurate with the teaching load. The teaching load for this position is eight courses per year.

Qualifications: Candidates with a Ph.D. in Art History, Visual Culture Studies, or related discipline are required, but candidates with ABD (dissertation complete, only defense remaining) will also be considered. Position Summary: The registrar is an essential leader who will create and drive strategies to achieve the institution’s three strategic imperatives of enrollment growth, academic excellence, and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The registrar is responsible for the overall management, supervision, and coordination of the activities of the Office of the Registrar. The registrar guides staff in the planning and delivery of essential curricular and records services with a focus on continuous improvement of services in response to student and faculty needs. To support these outcomes the registrar employs emerging technologies to improve the efficiency, convenience, accuracy, and effectiveness of enrollment services. The registrar also provides direction and leadership for implementation and enforcement of academic policies and procedures in compliance with local, UW System, state, and federal regulations.

The registrar facilitates excellent student registration and enrollment experiences, builds secure student data files, and sets policies for their responsible use. To achieve this, the registrar extensively collaborates with groups of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of the academic records of all students (current and former). The registrar also ensures the creation and communication of up-to-date course schedules, course catalogs, final examination schedules, and collaborates in the efficient scheduling and utilization of classrooms and instructional facilities. The registrar also interprets and enforces policies and regulations of the university and FERPA.

Position Summary: Oversee planning, execution, and measurement of comprehensive communication strategy to engage and inform internal and external stakeholders in support of UWSP’s strategic goals.
