VUSN, a recognized leader in graduate nursing education, research, and innovation, is searching for a diverse and talented professional who is dedicated to educating the next generation of nurse leaders. We seek qualified applicants with clinical or teaching experience in medical-surgical and critical care nursing to join us in teaching innovations in the Master of Nursing program and the Pre-Specialty Level of the MSN program. Responsibilities would include working collaboratively with course coordinators in instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students in the classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings for fundamental skills, health assessment, and generalist adult nursing care. The curricula are implemented in a face-to-face learning format. This position is a full-time (.75 FTE) 12-month, non-tenure appointment with rank and salary commensurate with experience. Qualifications:
• A master's degree in nursing required, doctoral degree in nursing preferred

• Substantive clinical or teaching experience in medical-surgical nursing required

The Administrative Specialist is part of Calhoun Hall in the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University and is responsible for assisting with the financial activities of the departments of Economics and Medicine, Health, and Society. The Administrative Specialist reports directly to the Administrative Coordinator in Calhoun Hall. The Administrative Specialist performs... complex administrative duties requiring high-level decision-making skills and sound judgment. About the Work Unit:
The Economics Department is comprised of undergraduate and graduate programs. The Department of Economics has over 46 full-time faculty members who teach an array of courses and work extensively on research projects. The Department hosts several lecture series with prestigious guests throughout the academic year.
The Medicine, Health & Society Department is comprised of undergraduate and graduate programs. Medicine, Health & Society has over 15 full-time faculty members who teach an array of courses and work extensively on research projects. The program hosts several lecture series with prestigious guests throughout the academic year.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financials:
• Processes all Procurement purchases within the department and programs.
• Handles One Card transactions related to supplies, travel, advertising, non-capital equipment etc.
• Assists faculty and students with expense and travel reimbursements.
• Assists with internal events.
Facilities & Classroom:
• Responsible for departmental FedEx and mail.
• Orders exam blue books and maintains log.
• Maintains, purchases, and organizes office supplies; responsible for copier supplies and requesting repairs.
• Responsible for reporting issues with the building and submitting work orders to resolve those issues.
• Orders keys and maintains key log.
• Handles copy jobs, printing, and other administrative tasks as needed by faculty and staff.
Web, Social Media, and Graphics:
• Updates departmental websites.
• Handles social media, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, for both departments.
• Produces posters for departmental events, using Canva.
