### **SCOPE OF ROLE**

### Manage the Public Sector Project Management Office with primary responsibilities for Public Sector Product compliance and government contract schedule compliance\. This self\-directed individual will work across internal engineering, sales, and partner organizations to meet compliance and product design objectives ensuring alignment to Public Sector customer requirements and solution offerings\.

### Responsibilities:

### Tracking of compliance with all FAR flow\-down provisions, including 800\-171\. Work with leadership, product development, and engineering teams to deliver solutions aligning to Federal standards:Common Criteria, DISA STIGs, FIPS\-140\-2, TAA, FOCI, Section 508 documentation oversight\.
+
### Ensure compliance with all GSA Schedule flow\-downs, including CSP compliance \(Commercial Sales Price flow\-down is critical element of the GSA schedule\)
+
### Tracking that completed VPAT content is posted to Veritas Customer Trust Portal\.
+
### Project Management over all Public Sector \(Federal, State and Local Government, Education contract vehicles to ensure we optimize these contractual routes to market\. GSA, NASPO, etc\.
+
### Assist AMS VP of Public Sector on key projects surrounding Go\-to market as it relates to product certifications, contracts, and evolving security requirements\.
+
### Work with 3PAOs to achieve and maintain compliance certifications and reports
### Skills:

### Knowledge of cryptography standards, authentication, other security protocols\.
+
### Familiarity with Federal Procurement Standards \(FIPS\-140\-2, TAA, COO, etc\)

### Working knowledge ofFederal Certification and Accreditation programs: DoD Impact Levels,FedRAMP process and CMMC certification\.

Job Description
The Sr. Director of Sales, Data Compliance & Governance (DCG) is responsible for leading global Sales Specialists and Sales Engineers to position and differentiate the Veritas Data Compliance solutions, earning the trust and business of clients and prospects, resulting in delighted clients and ARR growth for Veritas. This leader will work with their team to engage directly with clients to help showcase business value and close deals. The Sr. Director of Sales will guide field sales on how to best position DCG solutions with clients, and help the team navigate through the clients buying journey. In addition, the leader with exhibit the necessary knowledge to articulate how Veritas solutions are best-in-class for data compliance & Governance. As a member of the leadership team, this role will require regular interlocks with Product Engineering, Product Management, and Cloud Operations, providing client and market insights, facilitating continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Communication
• This person is responsible for driving our cloud business across the Worldwide regions.
• They are responsible for recruiting the Data Compliance sales team across the Globe.
• Coach and develop high potential talent for future progression.
• Lead a focused team of specialized SaaS cloud sales representatives and pre-sales technical resources to achieve agreed objectives through support, mentorship, direction, and accountability.
• Build and nurture a high-performance Data Compliance sales organization, demonstrating courage with a deliberate intent to win and grow.
• Responsible for sponsoring the largest cloud deals in the region to ensure successful closure and value capture.
Strategy / Account Planning / Customers
• Meet and exceed revenue and bookings targets and achieve key sales objectives by developing and executing on regional sales strategies.
• Facilitate and direct strategic account planning by developing scalable strategies that leverage Veritas’ strengths and unique value propositions.
• Lead the regional sales team in building pipeline, developing effective sales plans, maintaining sales reports, developing market and competitor knowledge, delivering compelling presentations, and ensuring favorable outcomes at every client engagement.
• Develop short and long-term strategies, securing senior internal stakeholder support and then deliver against the execution of these strategies.
• Develop C-level relationships within strategic accounts and ensure all Key Decision Makers and Stakeholders (both with the client and Veritas) are supportive and endorse the specific account objectives.

Target cash compensation range of $372,700 to $503,400

Job Description:
As a Customer Success Account Manager, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor within assigned accounts through identifying, creating and promoting compelling insights that will accelerate customer business goals and drive Veritas adoption leading to strong renewals and growth opportunities.
• Partner across multiple Veritas business groups in effort to ensure customers are optimizing Veritas products to receive the highest return on investment.
• Collaborate closely with internal subject matter authorities to translate customer business/technical challenges into business solutions based on Veritas products and services.
• Responsible for driving the customer success strategic plan for each assigned account.
• Continually delight customers with a positive, customer first approach.
Responsibilities:
• Meet or exceed Individual/Team Sales Quotas – Quarterly/Annually
• Lead Business Review Calls to assess customer experience, current usage of product, IT environment changes and growth opportunities
• Build and document renewal quotes, process orders, and compile history in company CRM software
• Collaborate with various organizations both internal and external including Veritas Partners, Distributors, Internal Veritas departments
• Close business that is sophisticated in nature and often contractual
• Adhere to Veritas policies and procedures accurately
• Continuously assess risk in an account and proactively engage with customers who are at risk of leaving
• Review lost business and develop plan to action of win back customers.
• Prepare and engage in business development team meetings
• Prepare and engage in education/enablement meetings on product development and updates
• Forecast business quarterly with a high degree of accuracy
Core Qualifications:
• Experience in Information Technology (IT), IT services and products
• Solid skill in making pitches to customers and conducting business reviews
• Driven and self-motivated with strong dedication to professional development
• Validated history of exceeding your sales retention/growth quotas. Strong, documented track record of achievement against quota
• Highly proficient abilities with excel and various databases & CRMs – specifically Oracle
• Ability to work well in a team environment and build territory plans/strategies
• Desire to think creatively to create a unique yet streamlined experience for our customers
• Very strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to work under multiple deadlines
• Strong business and executive level sales acumen
• Excellent time management, presentation, written and oral skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7+ years’ complex sales and/or account management experience in IT software/hardware sales
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• High level of eye for business
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner
• Technical expertise or previous Sales SE experience
