• Community reporting (2-3 stories per week) for both broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms
• Pitch, gather, coordinate content for news specials featuring diverse perspectives and centered around major issues facing the greater Charlotte community.
• Attends community events as representative of WBTV
• Attends daily editorial meetings
• Leads and facilitates editorial discussions around diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in journalism
• Field reporting and digital experience preferred

The IT Manager will provide hardware and software support for all departments on multiple computer and networking platforms using a wide variety of business and broadcasting software. End-user technical support skills are essential. Some of the broadcast software utilized are, WideOrbit, BitCentral, Ross Overdrive, ENPS, Edius, as well as Office 365.
Duties include technical support requests, troubleshooting and maintaining servers, workstations, networks, and assistance in maintaining broadcast equipment in an IT environment.
Expertise with installation, support and maintenance of current OS platforms, IP networking technologies is a must. Must be team player with excellent communication and people skills.
