In This Role You Will
• Represent the Company in contract drafting and negotiations, pre-litigation, settlement discussions, and claims related legal issues, including supporting complex matters.
• Develop training, templates, guidance, processes, and procedures, primarily related to third-party contracting and other matters.
• Provide guidance to management on legal and regulatory matters impacting business strategy and policy.
• Proactively identify policy, legal, and regulatory matters pertaining to area of expertise, and evaluate the legal risk and impact.
• Exercise considerable discretion and may serve as the primary legal contact for assigned clients.
• Collaborate within the department and across business and staff functions to address legal and risk issues in a manner consistent with the best interests of Wells Fargo.
• Coach, mentor, and provide oversight for less experienced attorneys or staff.
• Lead initiatives of varying scope and complexity.
• Partner with business leaders and management of other corporate departments to develop and implement risk management programs.
The team serves as the expert in third-party matters impacting all of Wells Fargo related to third-party contractual, regulatory, pre-litigation and other matters. The team advises and counsels on structuring, drafting, negotiating, and interpreting contracts and relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The team provides business-focused, risk-based advice to clients and works in a collaborative, team-based environment. The professionals on this team work across subject matters and issues supporting the third party space and therefore have the opportunity to practice in different subject areas, including professional services arrangements, technology contracting, cloud contracts, software licenses, telecom arrangements, marketing, market data, regulatory support, hosted technology, and novel regulatory issues, among others.

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of Law experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• Active State Bar membership
