Job Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
Serves as the primary point of contact for pre-award activities in the Office of Sponsored Programs
Coordinates with, and trains, Grant Specialists to develop and/or review grant/contract budgets prior to submission
Reviews and facilitates the submission of grant/contract proposals to ensure compliance with university and sponsor policy, procedures, and guidelines
Communicates with partner institutions to compile and review subaward materials for collaborative proposals, particularly proposals with multiple stakeholders and funded partners
Liaises with the Office of Research Compliance and with Post-Award personnel to ensure efficient tracking of submitted proposals and awards
Manages pre-award OSP activities with college and unit level grant administrators and faculty
Maintains working knowledge of Federal and private electronic submission systems and manages university accounts for each, as appropriate
Develops standard sections, templates and online resources that support the proposal development and submission process, including records in the internal approval system
Remains current on, and proposes/suggests amendments to, research administration policies and procedures
Completes and/or compiles Just-In-Time materials requested for proposals in review
Coordinates the maintenance of Pre-award pages on the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) website
Performs tailored funding searches through PIVOT and other grant search engines
Maintains an appropriate level of professional development activity
Performs annual review and update of fringe benefit rates
Provides supervision, training, mentorship, and support to Grants Specialists position(s) on the pre-award team
Performs other duties as assigned by the Administrative head of the Office of Research and Creative Activity
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
At least two years of demonstrated independent experience in facilitating submission of federal, state, and private grants
Ability to provide technical advice and information to faculty for external proposals
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to serve as a leader within an established team

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

The Associate Dean supports the day-to-day operations of the Dean's office and provides leadership for the development and review of credit and non-credit programming in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. The Associate Dean supports CEBS faculty in academic program continuous improvement efforts including ongoing program assessment and internal academic program review processes. The Associate Dean assists faculty with the assessment, The Associate Dean supports the day-to-day operations of the Dean's office and provides leadership for the development and review of credit and non-credit programming in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. The Associate Dean assists faculty with the assessment, compliance, and reporting requirements of specialized program accreditation. The Associate Dean engages with CEBS stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships, partnerships, and opportunities. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean and serves as Acting Dean in the absence of the Dean. Specific tasks are outlined below. This is a full-time, 12-month appointment. • Consults with CEBS faculty on academic program planning, development, evaluation, and modification.

Job Requirements:
• A doctorate in a related field to a CEBS discipline.
• At least 3 years higher education administration experience.
• Tenured with a rank of Associate or above.

• Develop full-scale fan experience and marketing plans for assigned sports:
• Primary Contact for Soccer
• Secondary Men’s Basketball
• Secondary Baseball
• Tennis Oversight
• Will meet directly with coaches and their staffs to plan and implement the marketing plan for each respective team. Additionally, will serve as the on-court director for Men’s Basketball.
• Assist with managing PA announcers, coordinating music, video board elements, cheer squad, pep band, and other marketing needs to direct the flow of games, events and promotions with the objective of creating an environment conducive to fan engagement.
• Oversee select special events such as Fan Days, Season Ticket Holder events, On-Campus Student Initiatives, Student Appreciation events and much more.
• Oversee a team of approximately 10 student-interns as part of the sports marketing internship program. This group assists with promoting all home events and running in-game promotions.
• Create an electric atmosphere at all home events through the use of games, giveaways, contests, trivia, music and more. Bring new ideas to the table and come up with further ways to engage and inform our fans.
• Promote athletic events and communicate promotions throughout campus and the local community.
• Assist with the operation of the Big Red’s Rascals Kids Club. This includes coordinating and overseeing membership initiatives, birthday greetings from Big Red, t-shirt design and membership events throughout the year.
• Assist in managing community outreach efforts and coordinating summer events.
• Assist in the Assistant Director of Marketing in the management of the day-to-day duties of the student internship program.

This position is a two-year commitment, renewed after one year based on satisfactory academic and work-related performance.
